China’s Covid lockdowns are still pressing on with no end in sight it seems, as more and more civilians are being pushed to their breaking points.

Shanghaied: Chinese Lockdowns Remain Aggressive As Taiwan Provides Handbooks On How To Prepare For Invasion

It is now being reported that authorities are now quarantining individuals in cages, while other residential homes are being fenced off.

Daily Mail writes, ‘Shanghai authorities have put up fences outside residential buildings as China hardens its strict ‘zero-COVID’ policy, sparking fresh public outcry over a lockdown that has forced much of the city’s 25 million people indoors. In Shanghai, images of workers in white hazmat suits sealing entrances of housing blocks and closing off entire streets with green fencing – roughly roughly two metres tall – went viral on social media, prompting questions and complaints from residents.’

Meanwhile, Chinese “bunny hoppers” are actively disinfecting the streets by shoveling chemicals from a front-loader on to it.

Other clips that have managed to reach its way to viewers on the other side of the world, depict children in Shanghai forced to waear heavy hazmat gear, masks, and goggles, as they are still forced to go to school.

With more citizens trying to escape their locked down buildings, the government has not installed door alarms attached to their doors to prevent residents from breaking out.

Those who are required to quarantine at home will have sensors placed on their doors.

Breitbart reported

As noted in other WinePress reports covering this issue, famine has greatly taken over many different regions in China, with residents trapped inside their homes for weeks on end, unable to get food and water, forcing civilians into starvation.

Now new clips are emerging that show authorities are deliberating throwing out tons of fresh food rations away in the garbage, and ripping apart farms and gardens on private lands – which will obviously only make the starvation worse.

The following video shows the evidence of this, along with authorities PCR testing and nasal swabbing fish and hens, accompanied with more clips of Chinese screaming in pure horror from apartments, desperate for food and freedom.

And in a separate video, more evidence of what is unfolding in Shanghai is presented, showing the very harsh nature of the lockdowns and messaging the government is telling citizens – to essentially shut up and deal with it.

And according to Dr. Anthony Fauci, these severe lockdowns are designed to forcibly vaccinate: “Fauci Says ‘You Use Lockdowns To Get People Vaccinated,’ As The Covid War Is Reigniting.”

The Media Fans The Fears

As I have noted in other reports covering these severe draconian lockdowns, mainstream media has been sure to report on a lot of what is transpiring in China, going out of their way to use vocabulary to elicit a tone of fear, tread, anxiousness.

Outlets such as CNN recently ran a headline that read: “Hunger and anger in Shanghai’s unending lockdown nightmare.”

They wrote, ‘Now, with lockdown measures turning increasingly draconian, a once almost-unthinkable topic has struck a chord with residents in the city and beyond, more so than anything else: people going hungry in Shanghai in 2022.’

The word choice is quite fascinating, especially considering CNN has been very much in favor of lockdowns and continued Covid-related measures for some time. Now the outlet is claiming these lockdowns are a “nightmare” and “draconian.”

Moreover, they wrote: ‘Literal survival wasn’t a concern for most of Shanghai’s 25 million residents before April.’

For once, millions of people in Shanghai – young and old, rich and poor, liberal and conservative – seem united by their rising anger.

Despite the censors’ ferocious effort to erase all traces of bad news, social media users keep recounting and re-posting heartbreaking stories, increasingly disgusted by highly choreographed state media images showing an orderly and effective lockdown.

Among my friends and family, almost everyone has a personal story to share about the lockdown chaos and misery: from sneaking out in darkness to barter some food with a neighbor, to learning harrowing experiences of a friend dumped into to a hastily built isolation ward with leaking roofs and overflowing toilets, and hearing the wailing of an old woman next door whose children were unable to see their newly deceased father one last time.

People are also seeing Chinese propaganda czars double down, painting Omicron as a potentially lethal threat while stressing that only zero-Covid can save China from the deaths and havoc caused by the virus in the West.

CNN also wrote

This is certainly a new dynamic that outlets like CNN are now promoting – a posture not previously taken.

But it is not just CNN, but other news outlets like Fortune have also fanned the flames of fear. On the same day Fortune ran a headline that read: “‘It’s probably worse than Wuhan’: Experts warn China’s COVID-19 lockdowns will once again cripple global supply chains.”

Fortune wrote:

At least 373 million people—in cities that represent roughly 40% of China’s gross domestic product—have been affected by the most recent wave of lockdowns across China, Reuters reported last week.

The strict lockdowns have left some residents desperate for food and led to viral videos of Shanghai residents screaming from the windows of their high-rise apartments. And with Chinese President Xi Jinping doubling down on the country’s zero-COVID approach, what happens in China isn’t likely to stay there. Global supply chains are set to take a hit.

After all, Shanghai is home to the world’s largest port, and although it has largely remained open, trucks are struggling to unload cargo due to strict permit regulations, causing shipping containers to stack up.

“Even with air and ocean ports open, the length of the shutdown could make this iteration the most significant logistics disruption since the start of the pandemic,” the shipping company Freightos said in an update to clients this week.

That’s rough news for the American consumer, given the fact that the U.S. imported more goods from China than anywhere else in the world over the past decade. In 2020 alone, the U.S imported roughly $435 billion worth of goods from Chinese cities and sent another $125 billion to the country in exports, according to the Office of the United States Trade Representative.

That means, once lockdowns end, there’s going to be an “overwhelming movement of goods” that cripples supply chains, Jon Monroe, an ocean shipping and supply-chain expert who runs Jon Monroe Consulting, told FreightWaves on Friday.

“It’s probably worse than Wuhan. You’re going to have a lot of pent-up orders,” he said.

Lars Jensen, the CEO of the shipping industry adviser Vespucci Maritime, said that he doesn’t see any immediate end in sight to production and logistics disruptions in China either.

“The supply-chain situation in Shanghai continues to worsen. The port is running out of capacity for some types of cargo as importers cannot collect their goods,” Jensen wrote in a Friday post. “With the outbreak in Guangzhou also leading to shutdowns there, the impact on export volumes out of China will grow larger.”

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the reason the media is hyping this up so much is because they are priming and softening up the masses to accept these types of lockdowns in the future, along with famine and great sickness (namely those who took the Covid shots). Moreover, this is when we will see, I believe, the real introduction of vaccine passports finally make their mainstream debut. It will be a case of, ‘me first, you next.’

Take heed to what is going on in China, because it is setting forth the example of what is, I believe, highly likely to happen to the West in the times ahead of us.

[9] And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations. [10] Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds. [11] Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity. [12] A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them. [13] Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them. [14] Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by. [15] So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it. [16] When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread: [17] So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it.

Ezekiel 5:9-17

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • I really do pray that the Lord provides for us who are saved throughout all this mess. This is just downright horrifying. What a tyrannical nightmare…

  • China is a very compliant country. No reason for its citizenry to be treated like this. So now we know that when dealing with its Jesuit-trained leaders, the Chinese need to grasp the old adage, “give them an inch and they’ll take a mile.” I hope Americans will not be like the Chinese, but fear they have become too stupid and complacent and will make the same mistake. “If sinners entice thee, consent thou not.”
