David Beasley, head of the United Nation’s World Food Program (WFP), told the U.N. Security Council this week that the conflict in Ukraine has created “a catastrophe on top of a catastrophe,” comparable to the times of World War II.
He lamented that this crisis will generate a global food insecurity problem, especially affecting the poorer nations around the world. He additionally noted that the WFP was already been trimming their rations for millions of families and children because of the rising costs of fuel, and inflation affecting food and shipping, prior to the Russia-Ukraine conflict boiling over.
In nations like Yemen, the WFP had to cut their rations in half to the 8 million people they were aiding, and are faced with the possibility of giving them zero rations, with nations like Chad, Mali, and others facing a similar situation.
UPI notes that the WFP buys 50% of its grain supplies from Ukraine, which are now being cutoff, and nations like Egypt and Lebanon relying on 85% and 81% of these imported grains.
It’s planting season for corn, maze right now for the next four weeks. Well, whose going to be tending the crops? Then you got harvest season for, let’s say wheat, coming up in June, July. Well, if the farmers are on the frontlines you can see we’re concerned not just about what happens inside Ukraine, but also about what’s going to be happening outside.
So, we’re looking at what could be a catastrophe, on top of a catastrophe on top of a catastrophe in the months ahead.
So, this is a crisis on top of a crisis
Beasley said, also warning about fertilizer shortages being generated because its main components primarily come from Russia and Belarus
Beasley’s warnings came days after the Food and Agriculture (FAO) wing of the UN issued its own warning, which stated that the group is “deeply concerned” about the food security situation because of the conflict.
It is uncertain whether Ukraine will be able to harvest existing crops, plant new ones or sustain livestock production as the conflict evolves. As insecurity persists, and both local and national supply chains are disrupted, people are likely to fall deeper into emergency levels of hunger and malnutrition.
In a separate statement, Corinne Fleischer of the WFP Regional Director, said,
People’s resilience is at a breaking point. This crisis is creating shock waves in the food markets that touch every home in this region. No one is spared.
But SHTF Plan.com has a different perspective as to how these shortages are being generated, sharing an identical sentiment The WinePress has held and similarly stated, writing: ‘If you’ve been paying attention since the beginning of 2020, you knew a food crisis was coming. The media and ruling elites are just now beginning to warn that they are causing a “food crisis”, the worst of which has not been seen since WWII. Of course, they are failing to blame the immense inflation on the fiat currency creation, and instead are resorting to blaming the conflict between Russia and Ukraine for the problem.’
Russia has responded to the claims that they are the ones to blame for this crisis. Russia’s U.N. ambassador, Vassily Nebenzia, contradicted the gainsayers:
The real reasons why the global food market is facing serious turbulence are by no means in the actions of Russia, (but) rather in the unbridled sanctions hysteria that the West has unleashed against Russia without considering the population of the so-called Global South nor of its own citizens.
Marc Slavo for SHTF Plan.com added, ‘Regardless, neither of these is fully to blame, both only added fuel to an already burning fire. Food was getting scarce and prices were climbing noticeably a year ago, and much earlier than that for some in certain areas of the world.’
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
[6] And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. [7] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. [8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.Matthew 24:6-8
Independent journalists such as SHTF Plan, having been warning long in advance that food shortages, supply chain issues, inflation, and famine were on the horizon; just as The WinePress has been warning about for sometime. But the media has worked tirelessly to cover that up, and paint this picture that the economy was booming (Trump and Biden administrations), which is something The WP has debunked as well since we started in late-2020.
But now the media is finally starting to scare the masses into another panic situation: crisis to crisis to crisis. And now, many of them will indeed go hungry, until the government waves out their food and vaccine passports, and then the masses will run to get it. This is why this new and real crisis will be prolonged for some time on purpose.
To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.
Proverbs 28:21
The issue, at its core is what I have been saying for a while: you cannot print money to infinity and expect things to remain the way they are. But again, none of the world governments and media can let their people understand the most trivial concept out there in economics. Though, what Beasley said is more truthful than anything Biden and his administration has stated, who keeps trying to blame literally everything on Putin.
In short, continue to add to your preparations you should have already been building, or built-up.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

Hello brother. Off-topic question. Based on your research, does drinking black coffee stop autophagy when fasting or ruins fasting?
*(not so off-topic I guess, seeing food will be scarce, more chances to fast)
Coffee will not break a fast, as long you don’t go adding sugar and cream. Some people like to add butter/ghee/tallow or MCT oil in it too. Saturated fats do not spike insulin. However, it will reduce your autophagy benefits. Over the long-haul you’ll have some benefits from of it if you are only drinking coffees and some teas, but you will not get the full benefits. If you do, just keep it short, so your body can reenter it faster and sooner. If you do drink coffee during the fasts, you’ll still have weight loss and increasing insulin sensitivity.

Makes sense to drink just water if shooting for full autophagy benefits, since coffee even if it’s black might still be considered as a foreign substance in the body. Thanks Jacob.
They should know since they designed & crafted it. God allowing men to manifest their true heart’s desire in their responses to it. With regard to dieting, fasting, the media driven coffee wars, caveman diets & so forth…great care must be taken not to allow it to become a bondage. 1 Tim 4 KJB. Romans 13-16; 1 Corinthians 8 KJB. Coming from a long follower of alternative health having witnessed many fads & promoted trends fall to the wayside as the partial truths of the promotion of each came to light; and one dealing w/ the alternative & ‘natural’ helps for cancer crowd for a decade now. It’s not only coming from unbelievers not bound by truth, but in recent years has been weaponized to their dialectic games, self-justified by their greater good & any means to the end philosophy. Take it or leave it, offered in good faith.
Yeah some health fads are not good. Great thing we have the King James bible to legitimize fasting as something that is good to do. Even if the word doesn’t explain in scientific and medical terms why it’s good, it teaches that fasting is something saved people did to humble the soul, for godly sorrow and sincerity in asking a petition from God. The health benefits come as a bonus to the fleshly body, which some people have just been discovering in a more detailed medical sense throughout the years.
Easy to know that this raw meat diet is not good, because of the bible’s teaching regarding eating blood. God’s people in the OT, and the Lord in the NT ate broiled fish. In the bible they have cooks mentioned. Sacrifices roasted in fire before being eaten.
Some sources say coffee is good, some say it’s bad. Thing is, if it’s not organic, any whole food can be bad.
