Fauci Returns To The Media And Wants More Money For Omicron Sub-Variant And Pushes Fourth Shot

Five days ago The WinePress reported that the media is once again blitzing the masses with fears of a sub-strain of the reported Omicron variant, that is of course, quite deadly and infectious, they say.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, after mostly being on a media hiatus, is now back and is pushing the same fears, in a recent interview with Judy Woodruff for PBS NewsHour.

“As cases are seen rising in Europe and other countries, some experts wonder if there will be a surge [in the U.S] in just a few weeks,” Woodruff said, asking Fauci more about this and then some.

Fauci first explained that America is on a great trend thus far with the nation improving overall with Covid, but with a “caveat,” he said, noting that he and the experts particular follow what goes on in the U.K., and what occurs there the United States is roughly three weeks behind them.

Fauci explains this rise in cases in the U.K. and Europe are due to the “increased transmissibility of B.A2,” the sub-variant of the Omicron variant, sometimes labeled as “Deltacron;” a relaxing of Covid restrictions like masking, and waning immunity – all combining for a rise in cases, which Fauci thinks could also happen in the U.S. in the weeks to come.

Hopefully, that the degree of vaccination immunity and immunity associated with prior infection, will protect us from getting any severity of disease of any significance.

But, we’ll have to remain and wait and see. Remember the CDC said, that pulling back on the metrics and letting there be more openness in regard[s] to masking, we need to be ready, if necessary, to pivot back and pull in maybe a little bit more of the masking, if in fact we start getting a surge. But that really is unpredictable right now.

Responding to a follow-up question, if this another “here we go again” scenario that Covid “will never end,” Fauci said he sure hopes not but does not think we are heading that direction, but does say that,

I mean, we still have a ways to go, Judy.

Noting that only roughly 67% of the entire U.S. population has been doubled-jabbed, and approximately 50% of those eligible to be boosted with a third shot.

USA Facts, a non-partisan data collection site, reports that since March 14th, that 65% have taken doses, 77% have taken at least one, and only 29% have received a third shot.

Woodruff then asked Fauci, “Is this a time to start sending those messages out [to get vaccinated] aggressively again?” Fauci responded with, “I believe so, Judy.”

If we want to continue this, as I call it, “tip-toeing back to normality,” we want to make sure that we do everything within our power to prevent the kinds of things that will set us back.

I think psychologically, the country is just not ready to get setback again, but there are things that we can do to prevent that, and that’s the reason why we continue to stress the importance of vaccination, and boosting when you are vaccinated.

Going back to the B.A2 sub-variant, Fauci explains that this variant is fairly similar to the original Omicron strain, but has a higher and chance of transmissibility.

Woodruff also asked for Fauci’s thoughts on Pfizer looking for FDA clearance for a fourth dose of a Covid vaccine, and if this is something “people should be prepared for,” she asked.

Fauci said,

I think that’s certainly conceivable, much more so among the elderly than I think the general population.

[…] I would not be surprised that at least among some set of people, particularly the elderly within a reasonable period of time, can’t tell exactly when, we will need to boost those people.

Transitioning into a current debate among White House politicians, there is now a new push to pass legislature to provide even more funding for the Covid war, to the tune of currently another $22 billion, on top of the already multi-trillions that have been invested into this pandemonium. Fauci was quick to say that the U.S. needs that funding.

Well, we do need it, Judy. I mean the money that has been allocated has been well spent, and we have had a lot of very important successes with [those] resource, with regard to the vaccinations, the drugs, the tests, all the things that have actually worked well.

But we are running out of money. This is not make-believe. I mean when we look at the things that we’ve already started, that we need to complete, the talk about whether or not we’ll need a boost and what kind of boost.

What about the issue of pan-coronavirus vaccines that will protect us from what might be the next iteration?

So, this is reality. We are running out of money and if we don’t get money reasonably soon, there are things that we were hoping we would continue, that we’re going to have to stop, and there are things that we’re hopefully able to initiate, that will not be able to initiate. That’s the big concern.

Fauci explained that if the U.S. cannot fund more money, this will put a halt on the things the nation “needs,” Fauci explained, such as more doses of the vaccines, and more treatments and pharmaceuticals. Clinical trials that Fauci also oversees will also come to a halt.

Allow me to surmise this tongue of “Faucism:” there will be a rise in cases in the media, the science will “evolve” as always, lockdowns will come back, as will masking and mandatory testing, people will be forced to get their third shot, Fauci will get his funding and a bag of potato chips, and vaccine passports will start to arise rather quickly as to avoid the harsh restrictions.

I have been saying for a while that the Covid war is far from over. Regulars already knew that before 2022 started, and so none of these formalities should be a shock to any single one of us.

I think the new question we should ponder, is, will the handlers do the Russia-Ukraine thing simultaneously, or will that wind down to a close and the media ramps up the Covid war to the max?
