As refugees continue to pour in throughout the European nations, Sweden is now set to reinstate identification checks for things like public transportation and more.
According to Swedish outlets Aftonbladet and SVT (translated into English):
The government wants to be able to reintroduce ID checks on buses, trains and passenger ships to Sweden due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, according to a press release.
We must be able to ensure order and order and it is important that the government has the tools required to receive those who come to Sweden in an orderly manner.

The law that applied during the refugee crisis in 2015 was temporary and has ceased. The government now wants the law to enter into force on April 8 and three years from now to give the government the power to introduce controls if necessary. Travel from or via Norway is excluded.
The government understands that a reintroduction of ID checks affects the individual traveler and commuter. It is important not to use it to a greater extent and for a longer period of time than is necessary.

I recently reported that the Ukraine was quietly initiating a plan to rollout reimbursement checks to those who lost their jobs, but they have to be vaccinated. Moreover, the passports and QR codes payment systems are showing up all over the world quite rapidly – as I reported – and Sweden is already embracing the idea of biometrics for proof of vaccination; so, how long do you think this will take before this ID-checking will be linked up to the vaccination, and carbon footprints, and so forth??
