The store utilizes Amazon’s palm-reading technology and the traditional QR code scanner for entry.

Debuted on February 23rd in Washington D.C., an Amazon’s Whole Foods went through a revamp that now utilizes cashierless technology.

The store uses Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology, which allows for patrons to shop for the items they want, and then leave without having to interact and exchange money with a cashier.

According to The Verge, ‘Although Amazon has been operating cashierless grocery stores in increasingly large Amazon Go and Amazon Fresh-branded stores, this is the first time it’s bringing the technology to a Whole Foods store.’

Amazon declined to answer the New York Times’ question whether or not this technology will spread to all Whole Foods locations. However, it is noted that another one identical to the one in D.C. will open in Los Angeles, California.

A NYT reporter visited the store at thee nation’s capital, and said that while the store still has plenty staff on hand, the store utilizes Amazon’s palm-reading technology and the traditional QR code scanner for entry.

‘The store also leans into self-service, like offering a bread-slicer for customers to slice their own loaves. Customers can also choose self-service checkouts if they don’t want to use Just Walk Out, The Verge explained further.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

[16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: [17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. [18] Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Revelation 13:16-18

Looking beyond the obvious preluding and foreshadowing to the mark of the beast system: does anyone else not find it a “coincidence” that a few months prior to the Russia-Ukraine conflict boiling over, more and more stores are beginning to implement this technology (or more QR code scanning operations); while vaccine passports are being quietly rolled out with hardly anyone really noticing it?

The U.S. Is Quietly Rolling Out A Vaccine Passport In Both Red And Blue States

Mark it down: these passports will eventually (sooner rather than later) be linked up with the ability to purchase food and other things at all sorts of stores, along with subtly implementing social credit and carbon footprint calculators.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Amazon is slowly closing its brick and mortar bookstores. I do believe that soon, all stores will have this type of technology. we must pay close attention to what’s going on. Any who, The Union Election At JFK8 is about to take place on March 25, 26, 28, 29 & 30 from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM for day shift workers like me & 8:00 PM – 1:00 AM for the night shift workers. They are now doing the captive audience meetings (its when management and the employee relations people (my coworkers calls them union busters) have meetings with employees to discuss how a union would be harmful for the employee, their families, & the company) to persuade us to vote no (I most likely to vote no) & they have a dark website: https://www.unpackjfk8.com
