They work automatically while talking, with the translation coming in via the glasses with a slight delay.

The following report is by Scott Stein at CNET:

Meta’s camera-equipped Ray-Bans have had a lot of AI features onboard already, but they’re getting two more big ones. Always-on continuous AI assistance is arriving onto the glasses starting today for owners who have early access to Meta’s features, as well as onboard translation. Both these features were demoed by Mark Zuckerberg at Meta’s Connect developer conference earlier this year.

The features involve continuous audio and camera recording as opposed to specific individual prompts, allowing the Ray-Bans to be used for an extended period of time with the AI features turned on. Saying “Meta, start Live AI” begins the always-on feature. The glasses’ LED light stays on when always-on live AI is activated, and Meta keeps a recording of the conversation that can be referred to throughout the AI session. For translation, it should work automatically while talking, with the translation coming in via the glasses with a slight delay.

The live AI assistance is similar to what Google just demonstrated on its own prototype glasses this month via Gemini and Android XR, arriving next year.

The always-on AI takes a hit on battery life: expect 30 minutes of use before needing a recharge, according to Meta. But this type of always-on camera-assisted AI is exactly what more tech companies are going to be exploring in the next year. I’ll follow up with impressions when I get a chance to test it for myself.

Genesis 11:1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. [6] And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. [7] Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. [8] So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. [9] Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

While the technology is certainly impressive, Meta’s smart glasses, and other gizmos like it, are bringing us back to a new babel. The internet and instant intercontinental travel have already done that, but now with the help of instantaneous language translation on the spot will greatly open up new avenues for man to do more wickedly. The Lord confounded our languages for a reason, and it was a gift that God gave us to help occasionally cross some barriers (1 Corinthians 12:8-11); but now that technology has allowed us to once again bridge that gap, Satan can and is using this to bring the world together as one; which will eventually be done in worship of him and his satanic trinity (See: Revelation 13).

Zuckerberg has said he would like to see these glasses replace smartphones. The ultimate goal is biometrics and having these things implanted in people, so this I suppose is the next step in that progression. [7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • I commented a while ago saying that Genesis 11:6 word “language” could mean computer language. And all these “towers” that transmit signals will be used to connect the world through technology. One language = one mind. Devils with the MOTB serving the devil.

If Christians have the mind of Christ, then Satan’s servants have the mind of antichrist. A spiritual awakening! – That leads to their eternal damnation.

  • Mark Zuckerberg more than all the tech gurus has tried to push this virtual reality down our throats. Virtual reality is bad for physical health, mental health, and spiritual health. It is satanic. God created the heavens and the earth and we should be living in that world. We should be grateful for all God has given us, his creation, his salvation through Jesus Christ and not be looking for alternative realities to live in. I think these places are controlled by people in technology who have an anti-God sentiment. Ultimately, Satan will take over those channels and be whispering in your ears .

Why learn a language? My parents both came from other countries and had to learn to speak English. So, moving to another country should mean you try and learn that language. Second reason: studies show it is good exercise for our brain to think. The A.I., the language translation tools and calculators are making us dull as a butter knife.

Finally, seeing that creep in Ray-Ban’s makes me never want to wear those cool frames again LOL!
