United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres is once again warning the world needs to step up its immediate action in combating climate change and returning the world’s temperature back 1.5 degrees Celsius. Guterres made his alarming remarks at this year’s COP29 climate summit in Baku, Azerbaijan.
In a speech given yesterday, Guterres stated: “The sound you hear is the ticking clock. We are in the final countdown to limit global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius. And time is not on our side.”
He claimed that 2024 had the “hottest day on record …the hottest months on record …this is almost certain to be the hottest year on record.”
“And no country is spared,” he ominously warned, referring to all the disasters that have been occurring in recent times.
He went on to claim that “the rich cause the problem, the poor pay the highest price.”
Guterres also claimed that the world overwhelmingly supports greater climate initiatives. “Humanity is behind you: a poll by the University of Oxford and the United Nations Development Programme finds that – globally – eighty percent of people around the world want more climate action,” he said.
In this crucial period, you and your governments must be guided by a clear truth: Climate finance is not charity, it’s an investment. Climate action is not optional, it’s an imperative.
Both are indispensable: to a liveable world for all humanity. And a prosperous future for every nation on Earth. The clock is ticking. I count on you.

COP29 is going on right now but you probably did not know (or care) because the world is getting worn out with all this endless rhetoric. “Eighty percent of people around the world want more climate action.” -Oh please, give me a break!
1 Samuel 24:13 As saith the proverb of the ancients, Wickedness proceedeth from the wicked: but mine hand shall not be upon thee.
Most people when they hear this climate change rhetoric they shut their ears, and I don’t blame them, but you have to read between the lines. These liars are using coded language on purpose; this is how all the tricksters lie out in the open.
For example, last year Bloomberg published an article that praised South Africa for reaching its 2030 climate goals because the nation was facing massive power grid failures, plunging the nation to a crawl in many parts of the country. So when these people talk about climate change, they mean totally pushing back into a world with no power.
But a better example is from earlier this year when United Nations Climate Change Executive Secretary Simon Stiell said we have “two years” to save the planet, calling for more climate financing and things like gender equality. I encourage you to read his remarks because it demonstrates what these elites really mean when they say “climate change.”
What in the world does “gender equality” have to do with the climate and environment? But I suppose that depends on how we are defining “climate change.” One of the definitions of ‘climate’ according to Dictionary.com says, “the prevailing attitudes, standards, or environmental conditions of a group, period, or place: a climate of political unrest.” Now THAT is the “climate” they are referring to…
In other words, we are the “carbon” they want to reduce; and “climate change” is a loaded phrase that can both refer to nature and/or the changing global, political, monetary, cultural and religious structure. That is why there is all this total nonsense that has nothing to do with the environment included in the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and yet use those to promote “climate change.”
Are you getting it now? So, when Guterres says, “We are in the final countdown to limit global temperature rise […],” I interpret that as meaning the next major globalist power play is about to be deployed on an unsuspecting world…
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
