Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and Alphabet, said in the call published yesterday:
We’re also using AI internally to improve our coding processes, which is boosting productivity and efficiency. Today, more than a quarter of all new code at Google is generated by AI, then reviewed and accepted by engineers. This helps our engineers do more and move faster.
The Verge added: ‘AI is a huge focus across Google, with the release of features like custom AI chatbots powered by Gemini (called “Gems”), automatic AI note-taking in Google Meet, and a bunch of generative AI tools to help YouTube creators. Google’s well-reviewed Pixel 9 lineup of smartphones were also packed with AI tools.’
“In Search, our new AI features are expanding what people can search for and how they search for it,” CEO Sundar Pichai says in a statement. “In Cloud, our AI solutions are helping drive deeper product adoption with existing customers, attract new customers and win larger deals. And YouTube’s total ads and subscription revenues surpassed $50 billion over the past four quarters for the first time.”

The Verge and other tech outlets that reported on this did not address the fact that AI, as we have discussed would eventually happen, would begin to phase-out a number of jobs and professions. Sure, this may not be the case on a widescale at this present hour, and there have been no direct statements that says Google and Alphabet are laying employees off because of AI, but at the pace it is advancing it undoubtably will displace these jobs.
As I have covered in other reports, I’m calling it now: coding is dead:
Proverbs 12:24 The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.
Coding is just one job that will be replaced: you can expect nearly the entirety of white-collar labor to be replaced and phased-out in the coming years as well:

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

WOW! So much for Obama’s ‘you need to learn to code’ comment!
I remember when I was in school we were all told to get STEM degrees. Now those degrees are becoming worthless. I tried taking a programming class my freshman year but my brain just does not think like that. I am just not a numerical guy, but nowadays it will matter less and less anyways.
Jacob, you’ve found you niche and you excel at it too! Love you, Brother
Glad to hear that! Coz it shows you and everyone it was always a nothing paper & it only matter in the brain washing the children of the masses, started by the Jesuit order.
I REJOICE to see God destroy their systems that brainwashed the souls against him.
He will bring to nought and their devices too!!!
Amen, amen, amen!!!!
God bless you brother, serving the Lord directly & trusting you to feed his sheep, is one of the many great blessings & honours that could be bestowed upon you.
Thanks, Poly!
There are still many skilled jobs that I don’t think AI would be able to replace (think of delicate work that requires hand-eye coordination like baking, knitting, gun smithing etc.). Artisan skills in general (are always going to be valuable, but mostly for your family home and local community (proverbs 31 comes to mind). That said, it could just be my flesh talking.
Before I was saved I did get a STEM degree, but I tend to agree that the value of a degree is naught, with most of the actual value coming from the social connections, to get you into a job, or to help form a company etc.
The Lord had blessed me with an engineering mindset, but that was always there, and attending university showed that not many are interested in this sort of thing for the sake of it, but mostly in it for the money opportunities, or perhaps because their parents wanted them to.
Brother Jacob thank you for the work you do. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ!
I’m glad I woke up to the reality of the university scam when I did. They push this stuff on us since Kindergarten and present it like it is some grand achievement, the pinnacle of our lives. Trades and handiness skills of all kinds are the way to go, now more than ever.
Thanks for your kind words!

WITH NO CODERS, WHO IS GOING TO CODE AI? SELF-CODING? WILL THIS CREATURE DECIDE WHAT PROGRAMMING IT NEEDS THEN WRITE ITS OWN PROGRAM UPGRADES? SOMETHING IS MISSING HERE….
