The department published an accompanying document called “Election Misinformation.” The document states:
“The act of spreading misinformation about the election process, voter rights, or
even an issue on the ballot is a serious threat to election security. These efforts –
be they foreign, domestic, partisan, or simply malicious – are designed to create
mistrust in our elections process and are damaging to a healthy democracy.”
Benson’s department endorses several state and supposed independent fact-checkers:
- Michigan.gov/SOSFactCheck – Provides accurate information about Michigan elections
- Snopes.com – Investigates and debunks misinformation, conspiracy theories
and hoaxes - FactCheck.org – Verifies accuracy of political speech, ads, debates, interviews
and press releases - PolitiFact – Verifies accuracy of statements made by politicians
The document also encourages residents to report supposed information to the state.
If you see misleading or inaccurate information regarding voting or elections
in Michigan, please report it — and include an image if possible — to
Misinformation@Michigan.gov.
Benson said in a press release:
“Today, Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson launched the 2024 Democracy Ambassador program, encouraging Michigan voters to sign up to get nonpartisan facts and resources for the upcoming elections, share that information within their communities, and to combat any election-related misinformation targeting Michigan voters.”
Democracy is a team sport. No matter where you live or who you vote for, our system relies on everyone knowing the facts about our elections. By serving as Democracy Ambassadors, Michigan citizens can get accurate, nonpartisan information, squash misinformation before it spreads, and serve as trusted messengers within their communities. Together we can strengthen everyone’s trust and faith in our secure elections this year and into the future.
Secretary Benson said.
The Federalist also noted this about Benson and her shaky integrity:
Under “voting initiatives and resources,” Benson’s office directs residents to Vote411 – which, as The Federalist previously reported, feeds voter information to a leftist data harvesting scheme. The Federalist asked Benson’s office for comment on Vote411’s alleged data harvesting, but her office did not comment in time for publication.
Benson also hosted David Becker of the Center for Election Innovation and Research at a press conference Monday. Alongside the Center for Tech and Civic Life, which gave at least $328 million in “Zuckbucks” in 2020, CEIR funneled $70 million from Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg to local election agencies, advancing voting practices that favor the left.
In December last year, Benson issued a manual instructing clerks that absentee ballot signatures were entitled to a “presumption of validity.” A Michigan judge struck down the guidance as unconstitutional in a final order on Tuesday.
And in a demand letter to Benson in May, the Republican National Committee alleged that she failed to clean the voter rolls of 92,000 inactive registrants.

Proverbs 26:20 Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth. [21] As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife. [22] The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.
The stupidity and villainy of these liberals and progressives will never cease to amaze. They love to put on this act that they are tolerate and open to different opinions, but we know by now that that is a load of garbage. You are only allowed to believe what they believe, and if you don’t then they will mobilize their mass army of NPCs and report you to the state. That’s the lunacy of these people. There are plenty of NPCs on the right as well, but with the left it’s all-out bigotry and gestapo.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

Deut 7: 9Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
10And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.
Deut 10: 17For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:
18He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.
