The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France, stirred up a ruckus after the event’s opening ceremony last night, featuring drag queens and other lewd actors appearing to mock the iconic Last Supper painting.

Here are some of the clips from the event:

According to an official post from Olympic officials, this scene was meant to be “the interpretation of the Greek God Dionysus makes us aware of the absurdity of violence between human beings.”

In a statement to The Washington Times, Olympic officials stated: “Clearly, there was never an intention to show disrespect toward any religious group or belief. On the contrary, each of the tableaux in the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony was intended to celebrate community and tolerance.”

The controversial display quickly became partisan and political on social media, as left-leaning Raw Story reported: “‘Mocking god’: Religious right melts down over ‘Satantic’ Olympic opening ceremonies.”

Elon Musk chimed in and said, “This was extremely disrespectful to Christians.”

Catholic Bishops from around the world were also very upset with the display. The Bishops’ Conference of France condemned the ceremony as “scenes of derision and mockery of Christianity, which we deeply deplore.”

“We thank the members of other religious denominations who have expressed their solidarity. This morning, we think of all Christians on all continents who have been hurt by the outrage and provocation of certain scenes,” they added.

Bishop Robert Barron of the Diocese of Winona–Rochester in Minnesota called the spectacle a “gross mockery of ‘The Last Supper.’” “We Christians and Catholics should not be sheepish. We should resist. We should make our voices heard,” he urged in a video posted to X.

Even a collection of secular publications were confused at what the French organizers were going for. The Independent said, “Faceless torch bearers and Marie Antoinette: No one knows what to make of Paris’ 2024 Olympic opening ceremony.” The Telegraph also reported: “Paris 2024 opening ceremony leaves English viewers cold… but French declare it ‘magnifique.’”

In the lead-up to the opening ceremony, The WinePress reported that three drag queens would help to pass the torch to start the games.

This year’s Olympics has also seen the distribution of roughly 300,000 condoms to the athletes. They came wrapped in packaging with the French Olympic mascot on them, CNN noted. ‘Rio 2016 owns the record for most condoms at 450,000 total, about 42 for each Olympian in Brazil,’ Swim Swam added.

Cosmopolitan further stated what a big part of the Olympics is all about:

The Olympics is, by its very nature, horny. Tens of thousands of jacked-up athletes living in the same self-contained complex during one long, hot summer, competing with each other for hunks of gold? Please. Rumours about the “sex-mad” Games have swirled for decades, with athletes telling stories of foursomes, public sex, and a “different woman every night”. That is, until 2021, when sex was, for all intents and purposes, banned.

But sex is back on the menu this summer, with this year’s Games potentially set to be sexier than ever. Not only are they being held in Paris, the undisputed City of Love, but organisers have, apparently, gone all out with a pleasure-focused sexual health campaign. Oh, and they’re giving out 300,000 free condoms.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

And yet ironically it was in Athens, Greece – the origin of the Olympics – where a man named Dionysius was saved by the preaching of Paul at Mars Hill.

Acts 17:34 Howbeit certain men clave unto him, and believed: among the which was Dionysius the Areopagite, and a woman named Damaris, and others with them.

And that last quote from Cosmopolitan about sums it all up: it’s just a giant carnival and glorified brothel.

Ezekiel 16:15 But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was. [16] And of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the like things shall not come, neither shall it be so.

Honestly, I don’t know what the uproar is all about. The Olympics does this type of Satanic, Masonic ritualistic garbage every time an event is hosted. This time it was to clearly enrage the ‘right,’ and it has worked judging by the fury being expressed around the world. Why do people even care about this stuff anyways? I sure could care less, especially nowadays none more so than ever before.

Proverbs 24:8 He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a mischievous person. [9] The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
