Serbian President Vucic Expects World Conflicts ‘To Escalate In The Coming Months,’ Warns Of ‘Biggest Geopolitical Crisis Since Second World War’

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić was warned that in the next few months conflicts around the world could seriously escalate, fearing that a global catastrophe not seen since World War II looms.

Receiving hardly any press coverage, on June 24th, in a presidential address to Serbia, broadcasted by Radio Television of Serbia (RTS), gave his warning to the people. He stated:

Dear citizens of Serbia, respected journalists… today I want to start my address by asking the citizens of our country, because I will exclusively speak about Serbia, without mentioning political parties, their interests, or anything similar. I will talk about the problems we are facing.

[…] Let us together respond to the challenges that lie ahead of us and reach the results we all want. We are living in the time of the greatest geopolitical crisis since the Second World War, and I want to tell you for the sake of history, since of course I have certain knowledge more than ordinary citizens, and I often rely on what I feel through conversations with the biggest world leaders.

I expect the situation to escalate in the coming months, and I expect that we will face very serious consequences. We are talking about Europe and the world.

But we must be firmly determined to do our job in the best possible way, to preserve peace, to ensure economic growth. As for European politics, I expect a more favorable situation for Serbia.

Turkish outlet AA also noted that ‘Vučić warned in both March and April this year that the world is facing two possible scenarios — a third world war or a long-term cease-fire in Ukraine.’

The day before he made these statements, the Serbian President had echoed a similar sentiment during an award ceremony for the nation’s police officers. He asked the Interior Ministry to assure that “no matter how difficult it is in Europe, every inch of Serbian land must be safe.”

We live in a world where there is no security or stability, and it is impossible to easily consider what will happen before the end of this year, much less plan much for the future.

Therefore, we must think about our country and prepare well for every possible scenario. [The Ministry needs to] be prepared for a more difficult period, not because Serbia is in a difficult or bad condition…but because I know what will happen in the world, I know that the situation here will be much more difficult, so it is important to ensure that reserves exist, and to prepare for this period.

He added

Moreover, in May, he told local network Prva Srpska Televizija that he is “afraid that there is little time left for the war in Ukraine to be stopped.”

In my opinion, things will get worse and worse, and it may happen that we will have a greater tragedy than World War II. I’m afraid we are heading towards a great world conflict, and few want to stop it.

Vučić explained

In a separate speech he also gave in May, the President of Serbia once again warned of geopolitical instability, especially in the build-up to presidential elections in the U.S.

“I can tell you now with considerable certainty that we will try to preserve peace and stability. I am afraid that the world is going in the worst direction. The bottom line is that I am afraid that we will face the most difficult situation since the Second World War. It is not excluded that there will be a more difficult situation with a huge number of people killed. Everything must be clear by November 5th,” he explained.

He also criticized German Foreign Minister Analena Baerbock.

He said: “When they attack us, we respond without hesitation but we still respect them. Whatever I think of Baerbock, I don’t think anything good of her work, because their foundation is doing everything to topple our coalition from power. They are not satisfied with such a Serbia, but with someone who would applaud them for such a resolution.”

RT noted in a report that ‘Vučić, whose country was subjected to a NATO bombing campaign in 1999, has maintained friendly relations with Moscow since the conflict began, despite Western pressure to sever trade links and impose sanctions on Russia. He has accused Western powers of trying to “blackmail” Serbia into supporting sanctions, and of attempting to orchestrate a “color revolution” against his government in December.’

The outlet added: ‘The president’s Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) won 85 out of 89 municipalities in local elections earlier this month, and gained an absolute majority in parliament in a general election in January. The latter victory was seen as a powerful rebuke to the opposition forces Vucic accused of plotting revolution a month earlier.’

You won’t hear this talk in Western media, simply because this man dares to criticize the United States and its proxies constant aggression and warmongering, and actually is seeking peace and sovereignty. What a concept, such a novel idea!

But his words are absolutely correct. The world is on the brink of total collapse and world war; and yet most Americans have zero clue that their lives are about ready to be totally uprooted. However, I suspect the handlers and puppet masters will probably do everything they can to get the world through the elections this year, but all bets are off in 2025, and I have no doubt the floodgates will be unleashed…
