The sour mood points to potential trouble for Joe Biden, who is struggling with Gen Z and younger Millennials in polls compared with 2020, and needs to convince them he can be relied on to improve their lives.
As part of the online poll of 943 18-30-year-old registered voters, Blueprint asked participants to respond to a series of questions about the American political system: 49% agreed to some extent that elections in the country don’t represent people like them; 51% agreed to some extent that the political system in the US “doesn’t work for people like me;” and 64% backed the statement that “America is in decline.” A whopping 65% agreed either strongly or somewhat that “nearly all politicians are corrupt, and make money from their political power” — only 7% disagreed.
“I think these statements blow me away, the scale of these numbers with young voters,” Evan Roth Smith, Blueprint’s lead pollster, told Semafor. “Young voters do not look at our politics and see any good guys. They see a dying empire led by bad people.”
While 45% of those polled said their own lives would be either a lot or a little bit better than their parents’, the same wasn’t true for how they felt America as a whole is doing: 54% — a number that included a solid mix of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents — believed the country is going downhill.
The data also found the COVID-19 pandemic has left a lasting, bad taste in the mouths of young voters: 51% of those polled said they were happier before the COVID-19 pandemic, 77% said that the event changed the country for the worse, and 45% said they feel less connected to friends and acquaintances compared with five years ago.
“Step one is more fully admitting that people are hurting, concerning young voters and all voters, particularly around the economy [and] inflation,” Smith said. “And that we’re doing something about it. That it’s not all roses, and communicating that really, really strongly: That we don’t think everything is great.”
Broadly speaking, Blueprint’s polling reveals young voters in America are not doing okay. But the pessimism about the country, its leaders, and more is also a concerning trend for Biden — whether he’s directly responsible for why voters feel the way they do or not, he’s currently in office during a time when many seem to be.
There are signs the Biden administration has begun to recognize this reality: Their once-often used term “Bidenomics” largely fell off the map after voters expressed frustration over the phrase, arguing it did not reflect the reality that they were feeling on the ground.
But there’s still a way to go, particularly with young voters who are wary of politicians and have lived through three presidential election cycles in a row featuring major party nominees known for their support among older cohorts.

These particular data points echo what I’ve often said myself as a Gen-Z’er. We see it for what it is, that all of this is just a big giant tent circus clown show. We may all radically see things differently – I especially being a born-again, non-conformist and non-compromising King James Bible believer – but we all mostly share the same belief that we live in an utterly corrupt and evil country run by sadistic, greedy and bloodthirsty maniacs.
It’s partly why I have spent so much time on The WinePress constantly deriding politics and the corruption in this country, to shine a light on the insanity and corruption that was allowed to come in and passively accepted by generations past.

I can state from personal experience and conversations that while many my age, give or take, are quite deluded and deceived, I have also spoken to a number of them that are more awake to what’s happening than you’d think.
Pardon his language, but this video from a Gen-Z’er went viral not long ago for expressing his frustrations about the uniparty we have, and how screwed-up everything is and how unaffordable it is.
My hope (short term, I mean) is that when this country totally collapses in the not-so distant future, that the residue that remains will be people that are open to repentance and righteousness, now that the system will have imploded and people will have lost everything. That’s one of the things I’m actually looking forward to as a result of this imminent collapse.

As a millennial born in 1989, I completely agree with you and other Gen Z’ers who have enough of a brain to see that America is an evil nation, run by evil people, and is totally kaput!
Even if I was born in 1939, I would agree with you! It’s not so much the generation as it is common sense and having no pride.
There’s going to be a lot of Americans who are in for an epic shock when they see their country in ashes!
Born in 1945, parents informed on gov. corruption. After Reagans first term, we decided to quit voting. We voted Reagan but he did some things we didn’t like and I kept informed on gov. corruption with a group who met monthly. Newsletters and speakers conferences back then was all we had. This country has derailed and this country will soon be in the ashes of history. We decided raising a family would be useless then and glad we did. Reagan signed a bill that would tax social security recipients when it could have been vetoed. This is a crime against retirees.
The more I look into Regan, the more I learn just how evil and corrupt he was, and yet is lauded by establishment Republicans as a hero.
Evil has prevailed since W. Wilson who was the first puppet of the UN globalists. The uniparty is in control and voting remains hopeless for all ages. We are truly a dying empire.

5. All politicians whether local or State if they do not follow laws/constitution need to be held accountable for violation of oaths of office.
6. Every American must be proactive or lose their country forever to evil tyrants.

8. All companies, politicians, judges, governors, federal evil doers need to be held accountable for treason against the American people.
It’s an abomination led by wicked elders who love to teach their youth their wickedness and then mock them for partaking in said wickedness while pretending that the youth’s wickedness came out of no where and that they had no part in it, all the while still partaking in said wickedness.

Kurotron, people don’t stop to think about the insidious nature of the ‘small things’. Take a child’s birthday party, for instance. They gather with their friends to mark the occasion and the friends bring gifts and in return, the receive party favors. There’s cake, punch, and ice cream. Seems innocent. Years go by. They become teenagers and young adults. Cake and punch are no longer acceptable (sans for a scant few). They begin to dabble in drugs and alcohol (‘cake and punch’, if you will). It’s not ‘fun’ otherwise!
The kids don’t know the value of personal relationships, much less how to foster them because no one ever taught them. What they ‘learn’ is superficiality.
Adults need to investment in the young by giving them their time and attention. Listen to them. Teach them. Guide them. Value them.
Society is bearing what they’ve sewn.
Parents today both work, few home school. Parents let the public schools and the streets raise their kids. No discipline values taught. Not made to do house chores, they raise themselves.
The sort of thing that is going on in Switzerland, using the very flesh of mankind, reveals something much larger& evil, & very subtle, reigning & manipulating from behind the scenes than just America. We actually, rank & file Americans dragging their feet and resisting certain efforts & advances, hindered it for a time due to the biblical belief & resulting blessing of God remaining here. That’s why abortion, & this wicked cyborg stuff, even the early vaccine development which involved aborted flesh & illegitimate mixing of bestial & mankind’s living flesh, happened first abroad: they couldn’t get away with it here.

Good points. I do also agree it’s not wise for people to constantly shift the blame on others and generations past for their own personal sins and shortfalls.
Ecclesiastes 7:10 Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not inquire wisely concerning this.
But to the same token, however, it’s also absurd and ridiculous that a number of older folks (ie. “Boomers”) continue to act so condescending and haughty, and willfully ignorant to what has happened and how their sins have cast a snare and shackled the current generations coming up. The wisdom of the ancients and elders has fleeted, by and large. I’ll talk more about this at some point in future articles.

In part, the ‘kids’ are now out of school (indoctrination) and they realize they were not given life sustaining skills (in large part). Many don’t know how to actually think, much less analyze and come up with solutions. They are in an adult form of dependence. Since they are supposedly grown, they are not only disillusioned, but angry because they realize they were lied to by all authority, including their parents (very few exceptions), who chose to be their friend rather than parent them. Mix in social media (actually, isolation), and you have a toxic brew.
It’s a tragedy of epic proportions especially when you factor in they were not raised in God fearing homes, and were fed that a steady diet of secularism and worldly pursuits (lusts) were the path to happiness and success.
There’s no way out and they know it. They need to hear the gospel and get saved.

It’s quite simple: the faster God was removed from this country, the faster it went down hill, USA is not in Bible(KJV) prophecy, and thus it will be like chaff of the thressingfloor ( the stubble that gets blown every which way), it will not be great ever again!
