To commemorate International Pride Month, NBC Universal recently announced they will be streaming a new nature documentary called “Queer Planet,” which is apparently is going to highlight same-sex and even transgender relationships in nature.
“When it comes to ‘what Mother Nature intended’, it turns out she was pretty open-minded. In this vivid, funny and eye-opening one-off doc we take the audience on a journey to explore the rich diversity of animal sexuality,” says an IMDB description of the film.
Set to drop on June 6th, SYFY said in a short article:
Narrated by Tony Award-nominated actor Andrew Rannells (The Book of Mormon, Trolls Band Together), the first-of-its-kind nature series hailing from executive producer Martha Holmes (One Life) is set to explore “the rich diversity of animal sexuality — from flamboyant flamingos to pansexual primates, sex-changing clownfish to multi-gendered mushrooms and everything in between,” reads the official synopsis. “This documentary looks at extraordinary creatures, witnesses amazing behaviors, and introduces the scientists questioning the traditional concept of what’s natural when it comes to sex and gender.”
We’ve all heard of gay penguins, but this film really opened my eyes to the full spectrum of LGBTQ+ behaviors across the natural world. And what could be more natural than being who you are? I’m excited to be part of Queer Planet, especially during Pride Month, and on Peacock, surely the most colorful and glamorous of all the streaming services.

In this passage, the Lord created the female animals of kinds, and it is implied that Adam would have observed this and therefore later the Lord created Eve out of Adam. Obviously, there are no “gay penguins” and transgender turkeys.

The destructive nature of men who have evil imagination, have concocted all kinds of environmental toxins that impact all of God’s perfect creation. i.e., round-up. It confuses an animals natural ‘gps’ (for lack of a better analogy) so that can’t easily find their way home.
