Another incident involving a bridge has occurred in the United States, this time a barge slamming into one of the pillars of a bridge in Galveston, Texas, which connects Galveston to Pelican Island, and is near Texas A&M University. The crash caused an oil spill into the busy waterway and now officials have closed it off to assess the mishap and clean up the mess.

ABC News says, ‘Ports along the Texas coast are hubs of international trade, but experts said the collision was unlikely to result in serious economic disruptions since it occurred in a lesser-used waterway. The island is on the opposite side of Galveston Island’s beaches that draw millions of tourists each year.’

‘The accident happened shortly before 10 a.m. after a tugboat operator pushing two barges lost control of them, said David Flores, a bridge superintendent with the Galveston County Navigation District,’ ABC added.

“The current was very bad, and the tide was high,” Flores said. “He lost it.”

2022 was the year of food processing and fertilizer plants burning down, 2023 was the year of train crashes and slaughtering poultry, and 2024 I guess now is livestock culling and bridge collisions?

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • God’s judgement is a consuming fire. Expect more bridge and boat crashes, more factory explosions, and maybe even bombings!

    I hope Texas gets hit with Hurricane Katrina Part 2, that state is jam packed with pride and prideful, sottish, boastful, and wicked heathens and professing christians.

    • Andrew, no need to hope for destruction, it’s coming and it will “hit” the whole earth. The minor little snaffoo’s will increase. As ya know God’s in control and sometimes we wish He would pick-up the pace, but, Remember what Peter said;
      2Pe_3:8  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

    • Andrew, what a horrible “hope” / curse to place upon all Texans! It is also home to many very devout Christians, my former Canadian pastor and his wife being two of them. Your comment didn’t show much love, grace, or mercy towards the faithful remnant…your brethren in Christ. God will do the judging…w/out our input. I don’t recall anywhere in Scripture where we’re commanded to curse or to judge others, do you? On the other hand, there are indisputable commands to preach the gospel to all nations (ethnic groups). I believe Texans would fit in there.

      • Texas is home to a bunch of fake christians. Joel Osteen, Kenneth Copeland, John Hagee, TD Jakes, and too many more to count.

        Texas (not all of them but most of them) they reject the King James Bible and exalt their traditions and hypocritical self righteousness above God’s word. They go to their cult buildings and act all holy and then for the rest of the week they live wickedly and are no better than a drunk porn watching pervert. Saturday night sinner and Sunday morning saint hypocrisy.
