Yesterday the U.S. House of Representatives passed another round of funding for several countries valued at $95 billion in total – $61 billion to Ukraine, $26 billion to Israel, and $8 billion to the Indo-Pacific Region (Taiwan).

The bill was brought forward by Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) after he cut a deal with Democrats to get this legislation on the floor of the House, and brought appeasement to other neocons and other GOP members who were in favor.

The final vote was 311 to 112. And, like previous spending bills, the package had nothing for things such as enhanced border security, or anything that would directly benefit Americans.

After the vote was passed a number of Democrats and Republicans could be seen waving Ukrainian flags, cheering and applauding the bill’s passage.

On Friday Johnson stated: “We look forward to every member voting their conscience and their desire, and that is exactly how this process is supposed to work and how the house is supposed to operate. So we’re happy to provide that.”

This is the best possible product that we can get under these circumstances to take care of these really important obligations. We introduced the loan concept for the governmental assistance party to be provided in a loan instead of a gift.

Everyone can vote their will and their constituents’ desires on the Israel aid, the Ukrainian aid, the Indo Pacific, and then our fourth national security package.

The package was wrapped-up into four separate bills under the umbrella of H.Res.1160 – one for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan, and a fourth one that includes ‘a threat to ban the Chinese-owned social media app TikTok and the potential transfer of seized Russian assets to Ukraine,’ Reuters reported, which also includes added sanctions on Iran and seizing some of their assets. That bill is called the H.R.8038 – 21st Century Peace through Strength Act.

The Senate is expected to pass this legislation as well and receive a hasty signature from Biden.

After the bills passed, CNN lauded Johnson’s “heroism” for sticking it to the GOP. The author beamed with pride saying:

Republican Speaker Mike Johnson showed political courage that is rare in Washington and notable legislative skill for an inexperienced leader in forcing a long-delayed $60 billion aid bill for Ukraine through the House of Representatives on Saturday.

Johnson put his own job in extreme peril to stand up for a democratic nation victimized by an unprovoked invasion by Russian strongman Vladimir Putin and to bolster America’s leadership of the West. His actions could save thousands of Ukrainian lives, even if Russia’s determination to win a bloody war in which it is targeting civilians shows no sign of fading.

Johnson’s support for the bill followed a period of self-examination and a political evolution that is also unusual in the hyperpolarized Capitol. One of his senior colleagues in the House said the “transformation” involved prayer by the devout Louisiana hardline conservative, who expressed a wish to be on the right side of history.

Johnson’s piloting of the bill through the House, after months of bitter infighting that split the GOP, saw him side with the diminished internationalist Ronald Reagan wing of his party while turning his back on the “America First” faction where he previously made his political home.

A number of GOP Representatives have voiced their utter disgust with Johnson and are supporting a motion to oust him from the position, similar to what happened Kevin McCarthy last year, who was the first ever Speaker to be removed from the position in the history of the U.S. Kentucky Republican Thomas Massie has said on X that a number of things built up to this, saying the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back “has a pallet of bricks.”

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. [8] Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath.

How much do we blame the politicians? And how much do we blame the deaf, dumb, comatose, lobotomized dodos who keep for voting for these Cretans, and will be out there this November voting for them again, as they habitually whine and cry like spoiled brats that they are broke and losing their rights? What’s the ratio of blame and guilt here?

This video short sums up our pathetic excuse of a nation:

America is not dying, it’s dead. This passage sums up our nation:

Jude 12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; [13] Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • I would rather give aid to Israel than Ukraine. The far left opposes the bill because it supports Israel & the far right opposes it because it supports Ukraine.

  • World War III is coming and they want Taiwan, Ukraine, and Israel as the main players and theaters of operation. Jokes on them, America is also going to be a theater of operation!

  • Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the rapture & return of Christ. Not popery, Catholic & Masonic war with the wicked raping, robbing, deceiving & merchandising elite enriching themselves & building the antichrist one world system for the master they serve. Our leaders are traitors & enemies not only of this nation & its citizens, but of God.
