The United Nations is encouraging the idea of turning off the lights and most power sources to homes in a purported bid to combat climate change.

On March 23rd, the UN published an announcement to celebrate “Earth Hour,” a day that encourages everyone around the world to go lights out for 60 minutes. “The largest global environment movement is happening on Saturday, when the UN invites people around the world to shut the lights to remember the planetary crisis during Earth Hour as young partners find new ways to drive climate action,” the UN wrote.

The UN also noted “the UN Secretariat [was] in the dark from 8:30pm New York time on Saturday, when all the lights in the 40-storey on the East River [were] turned off for 60 minutes.”

Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said in a video brief:

On Earth Hour, millions of people around the world switch off the lights to shine a light on the plight of our planet. This year, I invite you to be one of them.

The need is urgent. Our climate is collapsing. Last year was the hottest ever.

Earth Hour is a global show of solidarity for taking a different path. It demonstrates the power each of us has in the fight for our future. So please, join in on March 23rd at 8:30 p.m. local time.

Together, let’s turn off the lights and turn the world towards a brighter future for us all.

Earth Hour has existed since 2007, initially created by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

Now more than ever, we need our increasingly divided world to come together to take urgent action for our one shared home. We need everyone and anyone to feel inspired and empowered to play a part, no matter how small. Most importantly, we must continue to shine a beacon of hope for a brighter future, harnessing and celebrating the power of the people.

The official Earth Hour website states

In a press release the day after the event, WWF noted in a press release that “supporters from more than 180 countries and territories collectively contributed over 1.4 million hours, making this year’s Earth Hour the biggest hour for Earth yet, with many more hours to follow as celebrations are still happening in many places.”

Protecting our planet is a shared responsibility and it demands collective action from every corner of society. Together, we’ve ignited a beacon of hope, illuminating the path towards a sustainable future. The 1.4 million hours given to earth shows how environmentalism can be accessible, enjoyable, and personally meaningful.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

I’m all in favor of reducing our dependency on all this modern technology and getting back into GOD’s creation (NOT Mother Earth); but we of course know these globalists are always using doublespeak and coded language.

These groups have already outright said that people unable to pay bills and keep the lights on, and afford basic living standards, is actually a good thing in accomplishing their arbitrary climate goals. These are just a few examples I’ve reported on, that includes some of these globalist goons explicitly calling for depopulation:

Let’s get real here: what in the world is turning off the lights for an hour going to do? This is not at all about this mystical climate change jargon; it’s about all social conditioning.

For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.

Psalm 35:20

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • This is: an intelligence test (like, seeing ‘who’ and how many would take the poison jab) and, it’s earth worship! Both are bad.

It’s no hotter than it’s ever been. ‘Conditioning’ is the operative word. Think ‘air’. I grew up without air conditioning in the house or car. It took a long time when I wasn’t freezing in an air conditioned environment. Sweat is one way you body gets rid of toxins. That too, is good for you.

I’m not turning off anything. Those evil entities can pound salt – while they can (and be grateful to do so) because they’ll be burning in perpetuity soon enough. In the meantime, pay them no mind.

  • I turn my lights off every night.
It would be far more profitable for the UN to shut their lights off. Permanently.

  • Oh no I missed the hour, I may have went to bed, don’t remember. Anyhoo, if I knew about it ,I would have turned everything electrical that I have.
Those putz’s can go take a long walk off a short cliff… the climate is always changing, just as the Lord Jesus Christ set it up to, from the beginning to the day He wipes it out.
