With tensions sky-high as is, things are about to get even hotter in the Middle East, as Israel has signaled they are soon to begin two new invasion forces: one in Rafah, a city in Gaza; and potentially another one to invade Lebanon to attack the Muslim group Hezbollah.

Starting with the possible attacks in Lebanon, this has begun to brew for weeks now at this point, and the prospect of this unfolding continues to grow as the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) presence amasses at the border.

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said almost two weeks ago that “they will very soon go into action… so the forces in the north are reinforced,” Gallant said. “The forces close to you… are leaving the field and moving towards the north, and preparing for what comes next,” he added, The Times of Israel reported.

He further noted that reservists would be incrementally released “to prepare and come ready” for future operations.

Several days before Gallant made that announcement the IDF released footage showing their forces simulating combat against opposition in Lebanon.

Around the same time RT noted:

According to LBCI, an intelligence report on Israel’s plans has been provided to Hezbollah by an unnamed Arab country. The potential IDF campaign would be aimed at compelling the militants to abide by UN Security Resolution 1701, which was adopted after the end of the last Israel-Lebanon war in 2006, the TV channel said. The UN document facilitated the creation of a demilitarized zone along the Israeli-Lebanese border.

The situation further escalated this month after an Israeli strike killed Hamas deputy leader Saleh al-Arouri in Beirut.

Last week, Israeli Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi said that the possibility of a conflict with Beirut was “much higher than it was in the past.” He added that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) were in a state of “increasing readiness” for cross-border attacks.

Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib, meanwhile, said that the involvement of other countries in the Israel-Hamas fighting would be “unacceptable.” He also warned that a war with Lebanon would not be “a picnic” for Israel. Hezbollah MP Hassan Ezzedine similarly said that the militants would “fight back twice as hard and deal a blow to the enemy.”

More recently, Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian issued a threatening message, that if Israel launches a full-scale war against Hezbollah it would be Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s “last day.”

Iran and Lebanon confirm that war is not the solution and that we absolutely never sought to expand it.

Amir-Abdollahian said.

Meanwhile, Israel is seeking to launch a new massive invasion force into Gaza, this time in the city of Rafah. Rafah, a southern city in Gaza, has become the last real holdout for roughly 1 million Palestinian civilians in an attempt to avoid getting directly targeted and killed. Netanyahu and the IDF have claimed that Hamas leaders and insurgents, prompting the remobilization to prepare for a full-on assault.

Israel has already been dropping propaganda leaflets warning of the impending invasion.

ZeroHedge reported: ‘on Saturday, Saudi Arabia said that Israel’s planned army operation in overcrowded Rafah would cause a “humanitarian catastrophe” and called for the United Nations Security Council to intervene.’

The Saudis “warned of the extremely dangerous repercussions of storming and targeting” Rafah and affirmed its “categorical rejection and strong condemnation of their forced deportation”, in an official statement. It added: “This continued violation of international law and international humanitarian law confirms the necessity of convening the Security Council urgently to prevent Israel from causing an imminent humanitarian catastrophe.”

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

I have not talked about Israel in a while, because, similarly to my approach I took with Russia and Ukraine, I have no way of vetting the full stories coming from multiple camps; and with something as so contentious as Israel, it’s a powder keg ready to be lit, as it seems everyone just gets so over-emotional about it, to be honest, in my opinion.

Having said that, you may have noticed that the attention on the war in general has slipped from consistent mainstream media coverage, largely because the American people are getting seriously fed up with all these wars and money allocated to them; and the optics for Israel are in the gutter and cannot be recovered, as Israel and U.S. media at this point is not even trying to lazily whitewash the destruction and loss of civilian life in Gaza anymore.

Now Israel is setting the stage for a far greater Middle East meltdown – which will no doubt, should it continue (and all signs say that it will), bring U.S. involvement in further, and will use it as a backdrop to launch more wars elsewhere that are not even truly directly involved with Israel.

[7] And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. [8] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

Mark 13:7-8

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • 2 Timothy 2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
from the true and only word of God the KJV Bible.

  • I suppose America is slowly backing away from Israel, so they figure the less they talk about a war with Iran, the people will forget about them. As we already know, America, and others will turn their backs on Israel, so that’s where we’re at now probably. Come quickly Lord Jesus and take us out of this corrupt, evil world. See you all soon, ladies and gents.
