Last month the popular flour and baking good company King Arthur Baking announced they partnered with a group called Project Potluck, that will host a baking competition that is exclusive to “people of color” and bans Whites.

Though the contest is over, first reported by The Washington Examiner last month, the contest the winners received ‘mentorship to help them grow their businesses and baking skills along with a grand prize of $10,000.’

But, in order to enter, The WE noted applicants needed ‘to reach a number of eligibility requirements, including having a business or bakery led by a person of color and being a community member of Project Potluck, among other requirements.’

On Project Potluck’s website the group says, “We’re empowering People of Color to build successful companies and careers in the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry (CPG).”

The products we eat, drink and use on our bodies should reflect the diversity of consumers. But CPG founders, leaders and professionals are overwhelmingly white.

We believe People of Color are powerful AF* — and even more so when we work together.  We commit to being in community with and empowering each other as a way of building our collective power and influence.

The group wrote. “AF” stands for “as f***.”

I sure hope they didn’t use any white flour in that competition, that might just be too racist, am I right?

What idiots. I’ll be sure not to buy of their products in the future…

To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.

[6] Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats: [7] For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

Proverbs 28:21, 23:6-7

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • It’s my firm belief that true born again Christians don’t see ‘color’ (as in people). I seriously don’t notice. I know many that do however. To me, people are like Fruit Stripe Gum. They are all different flavors in one package and they differ and are all delicious.

Adults need to be more child-like. Children seem to be color blind (regarding people) and happily play with other children they like and get along with, regardless of pigment shade.

It’s always bothered me that people make a judgment about a person based on pigment. It’s silly and ridiculous.

    • Born Again, it seems the little innocent children DO play with children of any color, but unfortunately as they grow older, their parents put these ideas into their heads about race, color, etc. and then they change their ideas of other races. Sad.

  • Yeah, I’ll stick with Bob’s Red Mill and Jovial, you bunch of racist devils.

    Also, those verses were perfect.

  • Me and my mom just gotten rid of that garbage as soon as I had read that title. John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgement. from the true and only word of God the KJV Bible, were supposed to judge righteous judgement not according to the appearance.

  • I guess King Arthur will be Asian or Black soon, depending on the perpetual psychotic episodes of these nut jobs.

  • As soon as I am done with my King Arthur Flours, I will no longer buy from them. I will take a picture of the products in my cupboard and send it to them along with an explanation of why I disagree with what they have done. I will let them know that I am not interested in doing business with a company who would discriminate against white people. A contest should be open to all and may the best baker win. The problem is so many companies are doing this, that we have less and less options as Christian’s. I love to go to local businesses run by Christians. I will try some of the flour mills that you all suggested.

  • Imagine if the white people did that. The black people would picket, riot, burn the flour mill down, etc. lol Just kidding, but they definitely wouldn’t let it pass without speaking out about it. Let’s hope this nasty company has the same kick back that Bud Light had over the boy that thinks he’s a girl.
