Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy (D) has faced hefty backlash after a set of remarks he made, claiming that he and his counterparts are more concerned with illegal immigrants that actual legal Americans.
Murphy made the comments on a Wednesday edition of MSNBC’s “All In With Chris Hayes.” Murphy stated:
So you are right that that has been the Democratic strategy for 30 years, maybe, and it has failed to deliver for the people we care about most, the undocumented Americans that are in this country.
This is also not 2013 any longer. When we ran that play last back then, there were a couple hundred people showing up every day applying for asylum. Today, on some days, there are 8,000. And the reality is, is that the bulk of this country does not think that that’s right or sustainable and wants us to change the reality at the border.
So I know there’s a temptation for Democrats, and I know you weren’t looking for this argument, but I think there is a temptation to just run the same play we always run because we know how to run it. But when it hasn’t worked and when the country is actually demanding that we do something to make the border more manageable, I do think we have a right and a responsibility to adjust to that reality.
Now, this bill still had in it some really important things for migrant rights, including a right to representation and earlier work permits and the biggest expansion of visas in 30 years. It’s not a pathway to citizenship, but it is something substantial for people that actually care about migrants.
But in the end, all of this didn’t matter because, as it turns out, Republicans are just absolutely allergic to fixing the problem at the border because they are so used to having this be their perennial election year issue. They just couldn’t give it up in the end. So they asked James Lankford to cut this deal. He did exactly what they asked. Mitch McConnell was in the room for the entirety of the negotiation and in the end, even Mitch McConnell voted against it. Only three others joined James Lankford on the floor today to support the bipartisan border fix bill.

We’ve known that’s how these parasites have thought for a long time, but now this menace to society just nonchalantly says the quiet part out loud. Please, tell us, little Murphy boy, how you really feel?
Now lest you jump on the Republican bandwagon, let me remind you that most of those criminals are just as equally as guilty as the donkeys. Just within these last several weeks along I have demonstrated how the sellouts in the GOP are equally the cause for the open invasion into this country;
Starting with the Supreme Court ruling against Texas’ razor wall, with Trump-appointee Amy Coney Barrett being the deciding factor; and then WEF and globalist puppet Governor Greg Abbott suddenly acting like he cares, and while all of this is going on, less than a half a mile away, a number of gates to Trump’s border wall are totally wide open with no guard, thus proving it’s all theater. Then you have Indiana and Utah Governors calling for state sponsored immigration, claiming all 50 states’ borders are open borders to the whole world. And then the most recent thing with the Senate advancing a bill that shells out hundreds of billions abroad but not a cent for the border.
You don’t have the problems in this country like we do and it just being a one-sided love affair.

This Senator does not care about these immigrants. He is getting paid from another source who wants these people in this country. The Mary and Mohammed people are generally not lovable, and they hate this country, and even though he is a politician, he probably can figure this out for himself. I hope he has a bad day at the golf course.

Andrew, you might be right about the 75% dying in America, but don’t you think it will be in the Tribulation, not before the Rapture? All these things are leading up to how it will be in the Tribulation. As they say, “you ain’t seen nothin’ yet” compared to what it will be like after the Rapture. I have a suggestion for this butt kissin’ airhead. Why doesn’t he adopt a few of the children coming in or take them AND their parents in and support them? Yeah, that’s the answer to this problem. All those who think it’s a great idea to let all of them in should take in a few dozen and pay their bills. Then check back with us after about 3 months of having them live with you, or you could pay their rent in an upscale neighborhood . Nothing but the best for the illegals that you care about most.
