Many Western outlets have asserted that Putin uses body doubles when speaking, insinuating that Putin is in fear of being assassinated, or that his health has been fleeting. During the event, “a student from St. Petersburg,” RT reports, virtually called in with a deepfake model of the Russian President, asking Putin to respond to the claims that he uses doppelgangers when addressing the media.
Putin appeared to be a bit taken back by seeing himself deepfaked.
Notwithstanding, Putin, after collecting his thoughts told the caller and audience this:
I see you can look like me and speak in my voice. But I have thought about it and have decided that only one person should look like me and speak in my voice. And that person would be me, as one of our figures used to joke.
But as for artificial intelligence – yes, this is my first body double, by the way.
But Putin is not closed-off to AI either. Last month, speaking at the Artificial Intelligence Journey 2023 forum, Putin spoke of the great qualities and benefits AI present. RT reported at the time:
The president said there was a “growing trust” among people for the “revolutionary technology.”
Thank God, our citizens understand that AI makes everyday processes simpler and more convenient, improves the quality of management and mechanisms for providing public services.
He said
Putin went on to note the rapid development of generative AI, capable of creating images and text, calling the advent of such technology an “outstanding achievement of the human mind.”
He admitted, however, that such developments also raise questions about the ethical, moral and social implications of such technology.
“There are even proposals to pause the further work of generative and so-called strong artificial intelligence,” Putin said, but insisted that the future “does not lie in bans” on technology development.
It is simply impossible to ban it, technology will develop anyway. If we ban something, it will be developed elsewhere.
The president pointed out that, if Russia were to try to halt the development of AI technology, the country would lag behind the rest of the world, saying this opinion is shared by “everyone” who has the opportunity to develop AI.
As for the ethical regulation of technological progress related to artificial intelligence, Putin suggested that such guidelines should be set by traditional values and culture.
Modern Western AI systems and search engines, according to Putin, are primarily intended for the Western market and often work in a very “selective and biased manner, not taking into account, and sometimes simply ignoring and canceling, for instance, Russian culture.”
He said that, in an era of technological revolution, “it is the cultural and spiritual heritage that is the key factor in preserving national identity.” He stressed the importance of using Russian solutions to create “reliable, transparent and safe artificial intelligence systems for humans.”

What’s important to note about this is that this has been plastered all over Western media outlets, and when that happens it becomes obvious they are trying to push an agenda.
Personally, I find it hard to believe that the Kremlin or Putin does not use deepfaking tech. If we the public around the world have access to this type of tech, then God only knows what these world governments and militaries have, especially that of the Kremlin or the U.S. As to how often they deploy it is another story. As far as I am concerned, world powers have been using AI for a whole lot longer than they’d care to admit, and is far more advanced than they care to admit to.
As we transition into 2024, the AI debacle, this Hegelian Dialectic that has been created intentionally, will be at the forefront, make no mistake about it. The media and figureheads have already laid the groundwork for AI to disrupt everything. And, with it being an election year, the media has already warned of AI “misinformation” about the candidates. (They always tell you what they are going to do in advance).
Furthermore, Neocon wingnuts like Nikki Haley have used this AI rhetoric as a means instituting a national registry and digital ID to use social media. Sal Altman, CEO of OpenAI, and founder of Worldcoin, has also said that his technology will be used to help spot AI fakes online.

It’s been interesting to see Vladimir Putin remade as some sort of idol of ‘Christian’ Russian values given what he actually is and has been: antichrist to the core. I remember the first time I encountered the new Putin idolatry with a group of young Filipinos who saw him as a masculine and strong ‘defender of Christianity’ to what they inferred was the growing effeminacy and weakness of their former preferred ‘Christian’ friend post-WWII, the United States.
