Last week over several dozens nations agreed to a pact that says they will work to reduce harmful emissions produced by things like air conditioners, refrigerators, and other similar appliances, at the COP28 climate change summit in Dubai.

These nations, including the U.S., signed on board with the Global Cooling Pledge, which requires countries to reduce such emissions by at least 68% by 2050 compared to 2022 levels, and raise efficiency standards of these appliances by 2030.

We want to lay out a pathway to reduce cooling-related emissions across all sectors but increase access to sustainable cooling.

U.S. climate envoy John Kerry said at COP28.

Jürgen Fischer, president of climate solutions at Danish multinational Danfoss which specializes in heating and cooling, said also in statement:

Part of the commitments state:

Commit to establish national model building energy codes that incorporate market appropriate measures such as passive cooling and energy efficiency strategies at the latest by 2030 for new and refurbished buildings as appropriate for those countries with jurisdiction of national building codes, or for those countries that do not have such jurisdiction, support adoption of building energy codes at the sub-national level;

Commit to work together to support increased market penetration of highly efficient air conditioning equipment and innovative technologies and collectively increase the global average efficiency rating of new air conditioning equipment sold by 50% by at the latest 2030 from global 2022 installed baseline;

The United Nations also chimed in, commenting, “Today’s cooling systems, such as air-conditioners (ACs) and refrigerators, consume massive amount of energy and often use refrigerants that warm the planet. The latest UNEP report shows that by taking measures to reduce the power consumption of cooling equipment could lead to a reduction of at least 60 per cent off predicted 2050 sectoral emissions by 2050.”

The cooling sector must grow to protect everyone from rising temperatures, maintain food quality and safety, keep vaccines stable and economies productive. But this growth must not come at the cost of the energy transition and more intense climate impacts.

Said Inger Andersen, Executive Director of UNEP, who launched the report during a press conference at Expo City, where COP28 has been underway since last Thursday.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

Air conditioners have been attacked by the climate weirdos and elites for a while now. TIME wrote a silly article at one point saying that we need to get rid of them to fight climate change; or with Spain instigating heat and air temperature caps or face a fine, because of the energy crunch caused by the restrictions levied against Russia; and Italy had done something already similar.

Of course, the elites and well-off won’t have to get rid of their ACs and fridges, and other similar appliances; but WE, the serfs, will apparently be forced to accept some less-efficient, eco-friendly piece of junk that will only increase people’s bills, and put more strain on the grid.

This is where the smart meter stuff is really going to start to come into play in the future.

A poor man that oppresseth the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.

Proverbs 28:3

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • It will be easy to reach their goal. They’re killing off many of the users of these things via “arm pokes”, masks, manmade viruses, starvation, chemtrails, toxins in our water, food, air, etc.. A year or so ago, studies showed that on a global scale, 1,000,000 people per week were dying from the jabs alone.

    Now, include deaths by accidents, suicides, and genocide by tyrannical governments like my own (Kanadastan), cancers, heart attacks, strokes, drug overdoses, death by pharmaceuticals, arson, floods, natural causes, etc…it will be easy for them to reach their target.

    Dead people don’t need fridges, A/C’s, power, food, cars, trucks, or roads. Thus, demand for such “luxuries” will be greatly diminished. Sovereignty and autonomy is all over but the cryin’.
