“Milei is a liberal, he’s a libertarian, and he believes in market forces. And the market demands to include measures to address climate change,” said one of his administration members.

It appears it will be more of the same in Argentina, after the newly elected President Javier Milei has signaled that he is already breaking his campaign promises that made him so favorable among citizens who were tired of the status quo and same-old. Milei’s administration will reportedly continue to be apart of the Paris Climate Agreement, along with a number of core issues Milei ran on that appears to be going by the wayside.

On the campaign trail Milei has previously said,

All these politicians who blame the human race for climate change are fake and are only looking to raise money to finance socialist bums who write fourth-rate newspapers.

According to the United Nations, the overarching goal of the Paris Climate Agreement is this: ‘Its overarching goal is to hold “the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels” and pursue efforts “to limit the temperature increase to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.’

The tenured climate diplomat for Argentina, Marcia Levaggi, confirmed to Reuters that the Milil administration will not be reneging on the country’s precious agreements. She flew to COP28 in Dubai on Sunday, during Milei’s inauguration, to make it clear to world partners that Argentina was still going to be apart of the Agreement.

Reuters reported:

This is why I came to this COP, to reassure our party stakeholders and people following the process that Argentina will stay committed to the Paris Agreement. We will honour all our environmental agreements.

Milei is a liberal, he’s a libertarian, and he believes in market forces. And the market demands to include measures to address climate change.

Levaggi said.

Argentina will also keep its commitment to reach net zero emissions by 2050, she said.

Levaggi, who has been serving as Argentina’s ambassador to Senegal, said she was called to Buenos Aires about a week ago and asked by the new foreign minister to take the job.

The diplomat said she was “positively surprised” to be asked to take up the role.

Milei will eliminate the Environment Ministry as part of a promised effort to shrink the government, but the environment will be “distributed among different ministries,” Levaggi said. This is part of Milei’s wider public sector reforms and the environment will not have a lower priority in his administration, Levaggi said.

Argentina is in a dire economic situation, you know that. And this administration was elected with a strong mandate of fiscal restraint and reform of the public sector.

She said.

Levaggi has decades of experience on the issue, having worked with the Adaptation Fund for climate change and as a negotiator, most recently at the COP25 talks in 2019.

On top of this, Milei appears to be following in the footsteps of his predecessors and assigning establishment class members to parts of his government, along with minimizing some of his key issues that he campaigned on.

The Telegraph highlighted:

Yet, since his victory three weeks ago, the self-described “anarcho-capitalist” has begun backpedaling on some of his more contentious policies.

He has moderated his tone, filled his first Cabinet with mainstream conservatives rather than ideological libertarian allies, and put more radical ideas like dollarization onto the back burner.

He has also backtracked on plans to scrap the nation’s health ministry.

Mr. Milei used his maiden speech to warn that he had no alternative to a sharp, painful fiscal shock to fix the country’s worst economic crisis in decades, with inflation heading towards 200 per cent.

The outgoing government has left us with hyperinflation and it’s our maximum priority to do everything possible to avoid such a catastrophe, which would leave poverty above 90 percent and destitution above 50 percent.

For that reason, there’s no alternative to austerity.

He said

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

Well, that didn’t take long.

I had covered this in my initial report on this sellout and WEF puppet – and we had already had come to the conclusion that this guy is just another media clown, who is all about theatrics and entertainment, to both get elected and spin the people’s wheels again.

Cited in that article, The Trends Journal had accurately forecast that he’d capitulate.

In contrast, Milei’s supporters will expect him to live up to his lavish promises, and quickly. The country’s mess has left tempers short. If he does not deliver, his honeymoon with his voters will be brief and they may return to the streets to complain about him as they did his predecessor.

Considering Argentina’s debt load, and its sky-high inflation in the face of a global economic slowdown, we forecast that Milei’s plan to revive the nation’s economy will prove to be more talk than action.

Again, as we have forecast, Milei is more talk than action. His La Libertad Avanza party that was formed in 2021 does not have the political power to push through his agenda. In the senate, they only have seven of 72 seats and in the lower house of congress about 40 out of the 257 seats.

These globalist elites are going to continue to insert more and more of these bought and paid-for actors to put on a good show, to say one thing and do the other. As long the illusion of choice and freedom is dangled in front of the masses, they will therefore continue to chase that carrot, while the real players continue to do as they have been. And just like Trump, Milei has been oft compared to him, even using the MAGA expression for himself; and was hoisted up by many people on the right, when it is was pretty apparent this guy was just another huckster.

Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.

Proverbs 20:17

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Those liars are all the same. Notice how they worded that ‘the market’ demands the global warming boogeyman….they left out that it also ‘demands’ killing people and wars. They didn’t, and don’t, even bother trying to scientifically prove the global warming boogey, because they can’t. It’s just the slippery sophist story used to philosophize & justify what they’re doing, seizing control & ‘drawing value’ out of (stealing & using) what used to be beyond their reach due to honest communication, property rights and law. Honest speech is beyond their ken, and personifying the chosen evil actions of tyrants with terms like ‘the earth’, ‘the market’, is part of it and their idolatry. Antichrist.

    • kddlporter, have you noticed how they have reversed or changed the meanings of a great many words in recent years? I.e. racist, capitalism, Nazism, male, female, etc. They have adopted the Arabian style of doublespeak…saying one thing but meaning the opposite.

The first warning Jesus gave to His disciples was, “Take heed, let no man deceive you.” Mt. 24: 4. It’s pretty clear now why that was the first warning! I believe the AC is alive and well, waiting to reveal himself in the very near future. While so many are waiting and watching for his appearance, I’m watching, waiting, and praying for the real Jesus Christ to show up. Hopefully today!

  • I agree; they’re “all the same”. Poilievre will do the same when he’s “elected”. They’re all the same cat’s kittens, wearing different colors. Once they get in, they will still scratch and bite the hands that feed them! Each and every one of them, on some level, is a product of Klaus Schwab. He brags about infiltrating government cabinets all over the globe with his students.

The world is in for a lot of hurt, but according to the dictates of the Georgian Guide Stones, only 500 million will be allowed to suffer through their existence. The rest of us will be “cleaned up”…if Jesus tarries much longer.
