In the words of InfoWars consultant Paul Joseph Watson: “And just like Trump, he is a TV celebrity turned political campaigner.”

Last week Javier Milei was elected as Argentina’s President, vowing to make a number of changes seen as bold and radical, as the country undergoes great economic turmoil. Milei, depending on who is reporting on him, is often referred to as a “far-right” or Libertarian candidate, as his vote was seen as a populist movement that was sick and tired of status quo. But many of Milei’s broader plans might have just been talk to get votes, as some have seen it, and has connections to the World Economic Forum which has caused concern and doubt for many others.

Argentina has been in the midst of an increasingly worsening economic situation. In March, the country’s inflation rate breached 100%, and by September it had surpassed above 140%. Current forecasts suggest their inflation will reach nearly 200% by early-2024.

With Argentinians fed up with the old guard, the wild and exotic Milei won the election on the premise of radically transforming the country for the better.

The build-up in the West for him really began over two months ago when Tucker Carlson interviewed him.

International media is divided on him. Leftists and progressives are not a fan, and those leaning on the right like him.

Some have even gone as far as to claim that he displays characteristics of running a “dictatorship.”

Milei has at times borrowed from U.S. President Donald Trump’s campaign slogan, MAGA, but instead their acronym represents “Make Argentina Great Again.” Milei, similar to Trump, often uses brash and plain-speaking language to articulate his positions, presenting himself as a bit of an ‘outsider’ and non-politician, akin to what Trump has done. He too, like Trump, has presented himself as being anti-globalist, and has taken deep cuts at “s***” leftists” or “Leftard sons of b******” on national television and podcasts; or at times has warned, “Leftists sons of b******, be afraid!”

In the words of InfoWars consultant Paul Joseph Watson: “And just like Trump, he is a TV celebrity turned political campaigner.”

The day after it was clear that Milei won, The Trends Journal provided an overview of his main campaign promises:

Milei, who the media projected as a far-right populist, regularly wielded a chainsaw as a campaign prop, pledging to slash the federal budget and cut down government agencies and erase the country’s ministries of culture, diversity, and education. He also promised to abolish the central bank, which he accused of printing an endless supply of worthless money, and to ditch the Argentine peso in favor of the U.S. dollar.

His platform includes cutting regulations on gun possession and putting the military in charge of the country’s prison system as part of his tough-on-crime stance. He wants to use public tax dollars to subsidize parents who home-school their children.

He also plans to privatize health care, which in Argentina has long been a public program.

Milei opposes abortion rights and has called evidence of climate change “a lie of socialism.”

“Today we turn the page on our history and we return to the path that we should never have lost,” Milei told a crowd of ecstatic supporters after the election’s results were announced. “Today we retake the path that made this country great.”

“Make Argentina great again!” former U.S. president Donald Trump posted on his Truth Social platform. “I’m very proud of you.”

Milei defeated incumbent Sergio Massa, the country’s economy minister at a time when Argentina’s inflation reached an annual pace of 142 percent. Massa’s argument that the government was gradually making the economy better failed to persuade voters.

Milei won the election by 11 points and will take office on 10 December.

Additionally, however, some of Milei’s other campaign promises would seemingly contradict the “right-wing” slant opposition media has given him. Milei, as documented by Watson, highlights that he is also pro-open border immigration, and wants to legalize drug use and sex work. He has also said that he ‘wants to solve poverty, among other things, by allowing organ sales, so that the poor can sell their kidney or part of their liver to someone who needs and can afford to pay,’ Aftonbladet reported in October.

Also worth noting, Milei has had a tenured history with the World Economic Forum. In 2014 he was a guest panelist discussing on economic growth in Latin America

Already Milei has openly been ingratiating himself to some other big name political figures.

Milei has already met and sat down with former U.S. President Bill Clinton, and some of President Joe Biden’s advisors.

Milei has also supported Ukraine’s war, and President Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated him and invited to visit Ukraine.

I just spoke with the president-elect of Argentina, Javier Milei, to thank you for your clear position. There is no balance between good and evil. Simply clear support for Ukraine. This is well noticed and appreciated by Ukrainians.

Congratulations to Javier Milei for his overwhelming victory in Argentina’s presidential elections. I appreciate your clear position of support for Ukraine. I hope to work together to strengthen our cooperation and restore the international order based on international law.

Milei has also made it clear that they will be firm backers of Israel, even saying that he will be converting to Judaism. Bloomberg wrote in a post:

Javier Milei’s incoming administration is shaping up to be one of the most pro-Israel governments in Argentina’s history, at a time other Latin American nations have spoken out against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s strategy to eradicate Hamas.

A week after winning the Nov. 19 runoff election, Milei arrived in New York on Monday morning for his first trip abroad as president-elect and headed straight to the tomb of a famous orthodox Jewish rabbi in Queens. Donning a kippah and all black outfit, he visited Menachem Mendel Schneerson’s grave to pay respects.

The symbolic gesture illustrates how committed the incoming leader is to deepening Argentina’s cultural and political ties with Israel while much of Latin America, a Catholic stronghold, remains neutral or even critical.

Milei went to the Ohel Chabad Lubavitch before any other meetings with US officials or the International Monetary Fund in Washington. The president-elect intends to convert to Judaism, as per one of his spokespersons, and on Saturday participated in a Jewish ceremony in Buenos Aires where he received a blessing from another rabbi.

The incoming president’s fervently pro-Israel stance singles out Argentina, already home to the region’s largest Jewish population, as Israel’s top ally in Latin America. Milei has repeatedly said he plans to visit the country and move Argentina’s embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv. At the same time, he’s only starting to smooth over relations with Pope Francis, who is Argentine, after previously heaping criticism on him as a candidate.

One major and controversial move that Milei plans to enact is shifting the country away from the peso and transacting in U.S. dollars instead.

Earlier this year Argentina was one of the latest countries to be admitted to the BRICS bloc. Because of the country’s hyperinflation Argentina had begun to transact in Chinese yuan instead of dollars for international trade and collateral. But Milei has pledged that he would pull Argentina out of BRICS and align itself more closely with the U.S.

Milei’s move to transition to the U.S. dollar is definitely a gamble and questionable, as Lena Petrova, CPA, points out, doing so would remove the country’s financial independence and become totally dependent on the U.S.

Ultimately, the Trends Journal in their assessment sees Milei as being full of just talk, and what a lot of what he has campaigned cannot be accomplished.

TRENDPOST: Other countries using the U.S. dollar as their own currency include Ecuador, El Salvador, Panama, Puerto Rico, and Zimbabwe. Argentina will be the largest.

Converting its nearly $500-billion economy from one currency to another will be complex and tricky.

Milei has made other vast promises to transform not just the country’s economy but also to relieve the misery that afflicts the 40 percent of Argentinians officially living in poverty. However, his new political party has only a few seats in the legislature. He probably will have to negotiate and compromise to persuade the legislature to enact even part of his program.

In contrast, Milei’s supporters will expect him to live up to his lavish promises, and quickly. The country’s mess has left tempers short. If he does not deliver, his honeymoon with his voters will be brief and they may return to the streets to complain about him as they did his predecessor.

TREND FORECAST: Considering Argentina’s debt load, and its sky-high inflation in the face of a global economic slowdown, we forecast that Milei’s plan to revive the nation’s economy will prove to be more talk than action.

Again, as we have forecast, Milei is more talk than action. His La Libertad Avanza party that was formed in 2021 does not have the political power to push through his agenda. In the senate, they only have seven of 72 seats and in the lower house of congress about 40 out of the 257 seats.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.

Proverbs 25:19

Surprise surprise, another actor and entertainer who is just another bought and paid for puppet, who will not fulfil his campaign promises, but will be championed as a “patriot” and resistance fighter against the globalists. It’s not difficult to see why all these globalist shills are quick to praise Milei: he’s one of them, and they are formally greeting him into the club.

Milei’s move to switch to the dollar, if they actually go through with that, is just another problem waiting to happen. The world has spoken: they are done with America’s economic and military hegemony, and they are rapidly working to dump the dollar, transacting in their currencies or a new collective via BRICS. The U.S. dollar will collapse, and that will include Argentina in that.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Saw a thumbnail of this guy on Wikipedia some weeks ago, I thought he was a 70s gangster or something, ’til I read the info. Of course they can trust a guy who poses for a picture like that.

Funny, a former friend of mine used a chainsaw as a gimmick for his band’s show years ago. He ran into the crowd then toward the stage with it turned on, waving it around (he had the chain removed beforehand).

  • The world has spoken? Jason Cooley has been talking about this, too, & how they use the dialectic to manipulate & distract, draw people into serving the antichrist order. Wicked sorcery of Babylon up from Alexandria Egypt & through Rome, philosophy and craft manipulating the world. The Lord giving them over. Machiavelli and the Jesuits only honed it, and it is the same spirit in the East with the dragon and the guru people…the deceiving and being deceived. The one in the heavens still laughs….but the trump, then the shout is coming, & woe to the lost world.

I have to say: That fascist sure looks like a seventies Playboy promoting politically ‘conservative’, socially liberal type! Sideburns and all. Like some kind of furry beast. And those reading glasses to look studious, twin to the Jezzie Potter women with the big red and blue glasses…. owl wisdom. Harbinger of death warm Western style with the dragons & serpents. On him those glasses look really out of place. Opposites. Confusion. And, meanwhile, the East is stone cold serpentine & dragon, depersonalized geisha and devilish anime. Formalized ordered Craft. Soul-less. Insect-like. At least in the leadership. The one child policy. The fake approved Three Self Patriotic state religion. Key word that ‘patriotic’ to their idolatrous humanist dialectic, eh? The horribly conditioned, abused & twisted Chinese operatives with their femininity crushed & perverted into gross & crass fornicating & covert reporting, manipulating machines. All serving destruction and death. Soul-less as AI.

I kept trying to place who he reminded me of: kind of a shaggy, cheap hood imitation of Tom Jones. High road or low road the harlot’s a harlot, the cherub’s the cherub, and those serving him more & more like him: the destination of both the same save repentance toward God & faith in the Lord Jesus Christ according to the scriptures.

  • 2nd Peter 2:19, “While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.”

I found this verse and I thought BAM! This describes the controlled opposition and alt-right to a tee.
