Aurora, an “exascale” AI computer that can process a mind-boggling number of calculations per second, is ready to turn on…but is humankind ready for its “wisdom”?
The Department of Energy last week announced that the world’s most powerful AI, a project that began in 2015, would soon be powered up at the Argonne National Laboratory.
According to reports by The Wall Street Journal and others, the AI computer will be used to do things like aiding in medicine discoveries, predicting weather and “climate change,” and potentially innovating new kinds of highly efficient batteries.
It will also be used in analyzing the human brain, that highest order of organic intelligence on our earthly plane, the workings of which have already been used to create the “neural net” learning frameworks so important to self-learning, generative AI systems.
But, regarding any, and really all of what Aurora will be utilized for, like so much else, Americans will just have to take the Federal government’s word.
The uses of Aurora will be cloaked with “Highly Classified” protections, and secrecy that entrusts a modern priesthood of technocrats—to do what they deem “best,” supposedly for humanity.
All the transparency, guardrails, and safety regarding AI, espoused by the Biden administration’s much ballyhooed AI policy initiatives?
Don’t expect average Congressional politicians, much less average citizens, to have an ability to audit or verify what has gone or goes into the great new AI mind, or what issues from it.
The knowledge base it pulls from, the questions put to, the nitty gritty details of the vast numbers of projects it will likely be involved in advancing…all of these things will be largely an inner sanctum of government AI, far beyond rubrics as outdated as “democratic oversight.”
From War On Terror To AI Powered Monsters
The Trends Journal previously alerted readers that the timetable for Aurora to come online was estimated to be sometime in 2022. (See “ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE POWERING RESEARCH AT TOP U.S. LAB,” 1 Jun 2021.)
We also noted how the Federal government was aggressively pursuing the most sophisticated possible AI for use in weaponized military applications.
Aurora, as reported recently by TheMessenger.com, is half the size of a football field, and will be able to perform two quintillion calculations per second, or a “billion billions.” (“Meet Aurora, a Supercomputer So Powerful It Might Actually Change the World,” 14 Nov 2023.)
Is that a million trillions? Let’s just say it’s an astronomical number for a human brain to wrap around. Current high-end smartphones can handle 10-15 trillion calculations per second.
Concerning the secrecy of government AI, the justification of information getting into the hands of foreign enemies and adversaries, has become the central ruling tenet of our 21st century paranoid style of government.
But, without retracing the disastrous “War On Terror” apparatus that has effectively consigned our Constitution to the ash heap of history, let’s add another enemy to that list: the enemies aplenty from within.
Aurora, like all the other levers and technologies of power, will be wielded almost wholly unfettered from those “chains” that the founders forged in that document.
The people piloting Aurora—or perhaps, kneeling and praying to it, and carrying out its advice—have next to no reason to pay attention to the common welfare, the national interest, citizens, voters, the working people, humanity, or any other construct.
Aurora will be used to further the aims of those who control it.
No doubt many big questions will be put to it—not as single questions, of course, but as very complicated and grand projects. Here are a few we can surmise:
- How many humans can earth sustain?
- How best to counter the geopolitical objectives of China and Russia?
- How can cryptocurrencies be suppressed and neutralized, while adopting their innovations?
- How can the domestic population be managed, to deter unrest and dissatisfaction with their lot?
- How can humans (and other life forms) be better designed for our benefit (“our” being those in union with Aurora)?
In short, anyone who believes that the world’s most powerful Artificial Intelligence will merely be used for humanely focused, unbiased science research and advancement, will certainly have no basis in public auditing or transparency, to make such claims.
Perhaps even more insidiously, an AI which very possibly makes the most sophisticated publicly available AI platforms (eg. ChatGPT, Bard, Claude, etc.) look like lightning bugs compared to lightning, may inevitably be subject to technocratic adulation.
After all, a professional class that could worship a worm like Anthony Fauci, could certainly worship an AI “sungod.”
Welcome to the Age of Aurora.

It should be noted that this announcement comes just a month after President Biden signed a sweeping executive order that provides governance on AI, which, if you read my report on it, basically just gives the government an excuse to use AI to be leveraged against the American people.
The list of things this Aurora will be used for will be countless, as seen in this report; and, based on Biden’s legislation, we can be assured that censorship will be at the top of the list.
As I have pointed in a number reports about AI – it is being propped as some kind of god and deliverer, that holds all the secrets of existence and truth, when it is nothing more than just the same old idol-making but with a new twist attached to it.

Just because a computer can process info at a very high rate of speed does NOT mean it thinks for itself…..the computer is only giving the ‘appearance’ it is due to the high rate of processing data
Again, computers can only spit out that which ‘programmers’ feed in, and I would say 95% (if not more) programmers are atheistic and bow down to technology

Every time I conceive of a solution to any problems, it is always ignored by the fools around me that hear of it. Then the villains take the same ideas (from me or elsewhere, probably a parallel process and they get it from elsewhere), and turn it into another nail in everyone’s coffins. But, this is what people deserve, for not only paying no heed to warnings in the past by many (including me), but also of daring to MOCK those warnings, and act like snarky idiots. The payback is coming, and it is going to be so huge… But I’m done repeating my past warnings and insights. I used many platforms and several approaches, and various identities. But what have been the results? People slowly creeping around to where I was 10 years ago, but only in fragments, and only this late in the game, when 10 years means a hell of a lot due to exponentiating changes. This is one of those changes, and only the “tip of the iceberg” that they are willing to boast about. Enjoy the interesting times ahead. They are now unavoidable.
