Last night Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that intends on keeping “security responsibility” of Gaza “indefinitely” after their war is over.

Netanyahu told ABC News in an exclusive interview:

I think Israel will for an indefinite period have security responsibility, because we’ve seen what happens when we don’t have that security responsibility, what we have is the eruption of Hamas terror on a scale that we couldn’t imagine.

When we do not have that security responsibility, what we have is the eruption of Hamas terror on a scale that we could not imagine

The PM said

However, Netanyahu did not specify how or what this occupation and further policing will look like.

Before signing-off the PM was asked if he any thoughts on what would happen in Iran or Hezbollah enters the war. Netanyahu stated:

I think that they’ve understand that they enter the war in a significant way, the response will be very, very powerful, and I hope they don’t make that mistake.

Cited by The Jerusalem Post, State Department Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel claims that there was no scenario in which Israel could re-occupy Gaza as it did until 2005.

Gaza is Palestinian land and it will remain Palestinian land. We do not support a re-occupation of Gaza. At the same time, we agree with Israel that there is no returning to the October 6 status quo.

Israel and the region must be secure. Gaza can no longer be a base from which to launch terror attacks or anything else. We are working on security scenarios for Gaza.

Patel said, adding that he did not believe that Israel does either.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen explained to a conference of ambassadors in Brussels yesterday that “there can be no long-term Israeli security presence in Gaza.” She added: “Gaza is an essential part of any future Palestinian state.”

During the interview Netanyahu did offer some flexibility in providing a temporary ceasefire, on the condition that Hamas releases the some-240 hostages the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) says Hamas still has captured. He also indicated that he is open to allowing for some humanitarian aid to enter Gaza.

As far as practical, little pauses — an hour here, an hour there — we’ve had them before. We’ll check the circumstances in order to enable humanitarian goods to come in or our hostages, individual hostages to leave.

There would be a ceasefire for that purpose, and we’re waiting for that to happen

The PM added

Bibi had originally made it clear that a ceasefire is out of the cards. Iranian officials have also threatened to strike and “hit hard” the United States if a ceasefire is not reached in Gaza.

The PM was also pressed if he takes responsibility for the attacks that started the war on October 7th. Bibi said, “I’ve said that there are going to be very tough questions that are going to be asked, and I’m going to be among the first to answer them.” He asked again if takes responsibility, he claimed: “Of course. That’s not a question. It’s going to be resolved after the war. I think there’ll be time to allocate that.”

One way or another Israel will get Gaza eventually: it’s baked into the cake and scripture declares it so. The question is, is what we are seeing playing out now if this war is a partial fulfillment of these prophecies, or are we still a ways off and this is only just another skirmish in the line of many more to come until then? Time will tell. Proverbs 27:1 says, “Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.”

[4] For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. [5] Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant. [6] And the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks. [7] And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the LORD their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity.

Zephaniah 2:4-7

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Keep bring out these articles Jacob; No matter what all the haters will say, one thing is FOR CERTAIN, the KJV1611 Bible is telling the truth; Gaza will return to Israel!
Gen_15:18  In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
that would be the 12 tribes of Israel, the Jews

    • Thank you. It’s going to happen one way or another and I most certainly do not despise that, contrary to the gainsayers out there. The problem is either people don’t want to believe the Book (1 Thessalonians 2:13; Isaiah 28:9-13), and/or they are listening to the mainstream media and all the false prophets who amplify every time someone lobs a grenade over there in the Middle East. There’s an indefinite amount of time between now and then, and people need to be cautious that they don’t start jumping the gun on things, like so many people do when it comes to anything related to Israel. There is a reason why I have not often reported on Israel’s happenings because there is no point and it just causes way too much contention. At this point I almost don’t even feel like talking about it anymore because people are so touchy.

      • Don’t worry Jacob we got your back, I’m still a novice with a feather in my hat so to speak (not bragging just a description of me) but because I find WinePress so phenomenal, I’ll stand up for you, too.
Beyond myself, David Aarons, and others, God has your back!

  • I hope all these bags of dogshit from the middle east gets obliterated from the earth! Including Russia, Ukraine and fake israel. Take your WW3 crap and take it where the sun don’t shine.
