“American leadership is what holds the world together. American alliances are what keep us, America, safe. American values are what make us a partner that other nations want to work with. To put all that at risk if we walk away from Ukraine, if we turn our backs on Israel, it’s just not worth it,” Biden said.

The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has announced they have alerted a number of forces to prepared to be restationed and deployed to Israel, though that number was not revealed.

On October 21st Defense Secretary Llyod Austin revealed that the Pentagon would be alerting these forces to get ready to mobilize. He wrote in a statement:

Following detailed discussions with President Biden on recent escalations by Iran and its proxy forces across the Middle East Region, today I directed a series of additional steps to further strengthen the Department of Defense posture in the region. These steps will bolster regional deterrence efforts, increase force protection for U.S. forces in the region, and assist in the defense of Israel.

First, I redirected the movement of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group to the Central Command area of responsibility. This carrier strike group is in addition to the USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group, which is currently operating in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea. It will further increase our force posture and strengthen our capabilities and ability to respond to a range of contingencies.

I have also activated the deployment of a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) battery as well as additional Patriot battalions to locations throughout the region to increase force protection for U.S. forces.

Finally, I have placed an additional number of forces on prepare to deploy orders as part of prudent contingency planning, to increase their readiness and ability to quickly respond as required.

I will continue to assess our force posture requirements in the region and consider deploying additional capabilities as necessary.

This deployment was confirmed today in an off-camera press conference by Pentagon Press Secretary Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder. In his opening remarks the General stated:

Finally, we’ve placed an additional number of forces on prepare-to-deploy orders as a prudent measure to allow us to be ready to move forces quickly, should we need to do so.  I do not have an approximate number to provide to you today, but I am aware that that is something you’re interested in, so as soon as we’re able to give that information out, we’ll do so.

When asked to clarify the number of American soldiers given this alert, Ryder would not say.

I don’t have that in front of me, so I don’t want to speculate.  But again, it — so we’ll come back to you as we’re able to provide more details, other than to say these are the kinds of forces that we would need in order to enable not only force protection, but enable potential operations for a wide variety of contingencies.

He explained

When later asked about when the actual deployment would take place, Ryder again purports he does not know, saying, “I’ll have to come back to you on that,” he said to the press reporter.

As already noted, the U.S. has provided a number of support vessels and troops awaiting to potentially assist and supposedly to act as a show of force in the region. More recently the U.S. 6th Fleet command-and-control ship Mount Whitney is reported to rendezvous with the other aircraft carriers in the region, The WinePress reported.

Biden Says U.S. Is “The Indispensable Nation”

Several nights ago on October 20th, President Joe Biden addressed the nation in a formal speech, once again reemphasizing the government’s unwavering support for not just Ukraine, but also now Israel.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTxDZ6D1A1E

During his speech Biden compared Hamas’ attacks and brutality to Russia’s Vladimir Putin and their alleged actions.

Hamas and Putin represent different threats, but they share this in common: They both want to completely annihilate a neighboring democracy — completely annihilate it.

Biden again reiterated a claim that he’s oft said many times, that if Putin takes Ukraine he won’t stop and will continue to move into different parts of Europe. Therefore Biden has sworn that if Russia attacks a NATO nation the U.S. will be quick to defend it, but again has emphasized that U.S. troops will not be sent there in a combative state.

So, if we don’t stop Putin’s appetite for power and control in Ukraine, he won’t limit himself just to Ukraine. He’s — Putin has already threated to “remind” — quote, “remind” Poland that their western land was a gift from Russia.

For 75 years, NATO has kept peace in Europe and has been the cornerstone of American security. And if Putin attacks a NATO Ally, we will defend every inch of NATO which the treaty requires and calls for.

We will have something that we do not seek — make it clear: we do not seek — we do not seek to have American troops fighting in Russia or fighting against Russia.

Biden stated

Biden also condemned Iran, a tight ally of Russia, claiming that Iran has been supporting Hamas and that “we’ll continue to hold them accountable,” Biden noted.

He went onto assert that the U.S.A is the linchpin of the world that keeps it functioning, and turning our backs on Ukraine and Israel would represent America’s obligation to influence the world; and therefore is requesting Congress to fund new rounds of massive spending packages for both Ukraine and Israel.

American leadership is what holds the world together. American alliances are what keep us, America, safe. American values are what make us a partner that other nations want to work with. To put all that at risk if we walk away from Ukraine, if we turn our backs on Israel, it’s just not worth it.

And even though Israel is currently blockading Gaze buy cutting off all their food and energy supplies, Biden says he told Israeli leaders “to operate by the laws of war;” adding that “the people of Gaza urgently need food, water, and medicine.”

And as I said in Israel: As hard as it is, we cannot give up on peace. We cannot give up on a two-state solution.

He added

The Commander-in-Chief went to address the rapid rise in antisemitism and “islamophobia” in the United States that has existed for some time but has really grown in recent weeks.

But in conclusion, Biden again reemphasized the notion that the U.S. is a beacon to the world, saying, “we are the essential nation.”

You know, just as in World War Two, today, patriotic American workers are building the arsenal of democracy and serving the cause of freedom.

And as I walked through Kyiv with President Zelenskyy, with air raid sirens sounding in the distance, I felt something I’ve always believed more strongly than ever before: America is a beacon to the world still. Still.

We are, as my friend Madeleine Albright said, “the indispensable nation.”

A Wider And Deadlier Conflict Grows Nearer

While Biden softly and in a somber, tired tone tried to inspire some kind of unity, Biden and the rest of the government’s actions are only insuring that the conflict widens and worsens for all, according to some military analysts.

Retired Colonel Douglas MacGregor gave two interviews this past week, on Judge Andrew Napolitano’s Judging Freedom podcast discussing the likely outcomes of this war, and how many nations in the region are eyeing this and waiting for the U.S. response, and then they would most likely get involved. Besides Iran, this would include the likes of Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and more. These nations, MacGregor warns, especially Turkey, are “ferocious fighters” and vehemently despises Israel. Winning against these allied forces coupled with Hamas and Hezbollah fanatics is basically an impossibility in MacGregor’s view.

MacGregor contends that America simply does not have the manpower and resources needed to conduct a war in the Middle East like this, and will ultimately take heavy casualties, especially considering Washington’s vows to keep supporting Ukraine as the U.S. can in no way sustain two wars on two fronts.

The retired Colonel also believes that, unfortunately, that many of the hostages captured by Hamas are probably going to remain hostages indefinitely, or risk a very high chance they are executed if Israeli forces to tries to root them – an unfortunate situation with no real good answer, MacGregor concedes.

In his second interview, MacGregor touched on the comments by Biden is his address to nation; noting that it is just more rhetoric and patently false statements.

He pointed out that Biden essentially gave a George W. Bush speech reminiscent of the time when the 43rd President once said, “You either with us, or you are with the terrorists,” following the events of 9/11.

As for Russia’s involvement, who are close allies of Iran, MacGregor feels Russia will eventually get involved but not involved, namely due to how the U.S. deals with Turkey; who is a NATO member, a fractioned one at that.

Both interviews are worth a watch.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

I’m not going to comment too much on Biden’s rhetoric, other than it’s complete nonsense that is simply not true in the slightest, and hits on all the main points as to why the rest of the world hates the U.S.

But clearly we are seriously getting closer to World War III, the way this is shaking out. Lord only knows: it could dissipate tomorrow, or it could accelerate even further. Personally, all signs point towards the latter.

[7] And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. [8] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

Mark 13:7-8

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Ꮋey, I think your ѕite might bе having browѕer compatibility issues.
When I look at your blog ѕite in Firefox, it looks fine but when opening
in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapρing. I just wanted to give yoս a quick heads
up! Other then that, great blog!

    • This is the same spam link as on the other article, “Americans Looking To Travel To Europe Will Have To Register A Biometric Passport, With Fingerprint And Facial Recognition”.

  • I talked with someone whose relative signed up for a stint in the Air Force around 2019, and as a “newbie” he got to visit Poland and Auschwitz with fellow recruits, which I thought was odd, and then was visiting in Israel soon afterward. Don’t tell me that these “wars” are not planned out ahead of time. They should be called war games.

  • Here’s the thing, the Lord will ultimately protect Israel in all this. Yes, they’ll suffer, but the Lord isn’t going to let his people get destroyed this close to the end times. America however doesn’t appear in Bible prophecy nor has any special promises of protection, and thus the Lord could casually toss America to the side at his leisure. And I do mean casually toss, America’s destruction doesn’t have to be anything real fancy either contrary to how many high-minded American’s believe in due to their pridefulness over their nation.

  • They will hope for help in vain.
    I just read that yesterday.
The book of Lamentations are profetic as well as history.

Lamentations 4:17 As for us, our eyes as yet failed for our vain help: in our watching we have watched for a nation that could not save us.

  • That man speaking of values is beyond belief….there aren’t even words. And unnatural America hate is like antisemitism & for the same reasons, including ignorance & unbelief, tolerance of God’s people, the Jews, & a refusal to acknowledge the same prince of the power of the air & god of this world working through the hidden hand covert corporatist Babylonian European Romish Jesuit popery here that took Europe long before it was able to ‘transform’ the U.S. and drag her people into their net.

Like Israel, it wasn’t due to any innate goodness, but to the influence & power of the word of God, its ability to truly change lives with new birth salvation & ongoing Romans 12 protection, guidance & transformation to those continuing in the word. Even if its in just a remnant. As the American people loosened their grip on the word for the fakes of craft, philosophy & tradition….of idolatrous humanism, they….like Europe & those receiving & then despising, turning from the word of God to man’s better ideas & vain imaginations, falling back to Roman popery before us: then judgment follows, as with the Jews: but nonetheless the Lord knows how to guide, to save & to give grace to his people in every circumstance.

Israel will never be destroyed….even in crazy, Samson style, late Judges confusion bringing judgment, the Lord will hear the prayers of the repentant & bring judgment to the heathen & the nations through their trials and suffering even as with Samson who slew more of God’s enemies in his death than he slew in his life.

It’s funny hearing the blind proud, & what Jesuits & Lenin would call ‘useful idiots’, call out others for their pride! Talk about immature or inexperienced in the word & biblical living, beams & motes. Wiser to lay the hand upon the mouth & look to the word in faith & prayer, seeking the grace & mercy of the Lord bringing knowledge of the Lord & true wisdom.

  • All I’ll say is; we are getting closer but not quite there yet. Based on what the Bible says and God’s numbering system, I am JUST GUESSING, no dates; maybe 7 to ten years???? only the Lord knows.
We have to continue in our daily work, READING the WORD of GOD, PRAYING and taking care of our families, just stay alert of what is going on around ya, The Lord has us in His hand, no need to fear.
Jer_17:7  Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
    Tit_2:13  Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

    • Beats me. To be honest, I found that my walk with the Lord and my usefulness for him improved when I stopped “counting down the days,” if know what I mean? I’m not faulting you, I totally get it. Lord willing, I plan to do a very thorough study into the resurrection of the saints and the whole imminence debate, to clear up some confusion people have. But, I believe it’s just better to serve the Lord daily without overly worrying and caring about the timing of events too much. Consider this passage:
John 21:20 Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? [21] Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? [22] Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me. [23] Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?

      • No I agree, my point is for people to keep serving the Lord, because when stories like this come out and other outlets stories, they all start going;” the end is here” when it is just starting; my guess is just that, a guess, as a much older man then most folks on here, it’s kind of a feeling I have and maybe that’s how long I have before taking my dirt nap. I listen to Brother Bryan at KJVM and yes the imminence I don’t go with.
That study you mentioned would be great; looking for that “patiently”
