German interior minister Thomas de Maziere once said, “Privacy is nice, but in times of crisis…security comes first.”

Residents looking to travel to Europe will have to jump through more hoops to do so, as starting by May of 2025 Americans will have to ask and receive permission to travel, and must provide biometric data that includes facial recognition and fingerprint scans.

The European Travel Information Authorisation Scheme (ETIAS) rollout was supposed to have been implemented sooner, and has caused some confusion as to what is required, by travelers with visa exemptions do not need to submit their biometric data, which to over 60 countries abroad.

I think very few people are aware of this coming change and even fewer would ever imagine that the USA or Canada would be included in such a situation.

Roman Townsend, managing director for communications agency focused on travel Belvera Partners, says

Biometric Update summarized what the new regulations entail:

According to the new travel regime, visitors will no longer be able to simply show up in Europe, they will need to apply in advance for authorization to visit or they will not be able to get onto flights bound for the impacted European countries. Those traveling by ground transportation will face rejection at the EU borders.

While the ETIAS application doesn’t require biometrics, travelers will still need to submit biometric passport numbers, while fingerprints and face biometrics are collected when the person travels to the Schengen area.

Travelers who apply through ETIAS will be automatically cross-checked against the biometrics and other data stored in other European databases, such as the Schengen Information System (SIS), Visa Information System (VIS), and Entry/Exit System. ETIAS promises that the automatic processing should not take more than a few minutes.

Moreover, ZeroHedge provided some other details surrounding this:

As is the case today, Americans won’t need a visa, but they will need to apply in advance for permission to visit any of 30 EU countries for stays lasting up to 90 days. It will cost about $8 to apply, with requests submitted via the official ETIAS website or ETIAS mobile app. With activation of the process more than a year away, neither is yet configured to collect applications. ETIAS assures the public that most applications will be processed in minutes.

The approval will be tied to your passport, and will be valid for up to three years or until your passport expires, whichever comes earlier. Once you have it, you’ll be able to visit as much as you want, so long as it’s a “short-term stay,” which generally means up to 90 days in a 180-day period.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

It’s typical Problem. Reaction. Solution. It’s the Hegelian Dialectic. In 2019 Fortune published an article titled, “The EU Wants to Build One of the World’s Largest Biometric Databases. What Could Possibly Go Wrong?;” and in that post it cited former German interior minister Thomas de Maziere, who said, “Privacy is nice, but in times of crisis…security comes first.”

And now that mass-immigration has become too much of a problem, because of their stupid neo-lib policies that were bound to fail, and with antisemitism and Jew hate really starting to heat-up because of the last few years, and the recent Hamas war; and more coming travel restrictions due to ‘future calamities’ we’ll call them – what an opportune time to further database people and collect more information on them.

While we are still a ways off, in my view, we still continue to see the foundation being laid for the coming mark of the beast (Revelation 13:16-18). When stuff like this, and the digital IDs and CBDCs utterly fail, then propaganda encouraging biometric implants will be touted way harder than they are now.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
