A parent at a California elementary school has slammed officials for sanctioning a playdate for kids that essentially segregated them by race, and excluded white children.
A flyer for the event at Anthony Chabot Elementary School in Oakland, CA notes that it is “for black, brown and API families.”
If your family identifies as Black, Brown, or API or are [sic] a parent/caregiver of a Black, Brown, or API student. Come hang out while we get a chance to know each other and build our community as we kick off this schoolyear [sic].
Reads the invite to the event.
Ironically it was hosted by the school ‘equity & inclusion committee.’
I dunno about others, but I’m genuinely upset about what ultimately boils down to a “No whites allowed” playdate.
We’ll look back and cringe so hard that we tried to beat racism by segregating kids of color from white kids.
How is this productive? Why are we continuing to segregate people, let alone KIDS.

Definitely a tactic to heat up division lines based on race. Stir the masses up on every social issue possible. If we look back to 2020, be reminded of all that happened. They are going to ramp-up every point of discord amongst the people.

I just went to an orientation, and it was made prevalent to all students that “White people = problem”. They have all these student services, all dedicated to different ethnicities – however having a none exclusively for whites- if they’re going to preach equality, then its got to cut both ways. Even professors looked down upon white kids. If Asians, Hispanics, and LGBLT- sandwich people can have their dedicated communities, then the white folks deserve one too.
Also, the lgbt-whatever is just asinine. I hope china comes in because this tom-foolery has gone long enough.
But let the white people pull that and oh my they would throw a hissy fit and call the white people racist.
