Australian province of Victoria has become the latest in the world to ban all gas hookups in new homes, starting January 1st, 2024, instead going completely electric. This includes all public and private-buildings.

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) added, ‘All new public buildings, such as schools, hospitals, police stations and government-owned buildings, that are yet to reach a design stage must also be all-electric, effective immediately.’

Energy and Resources Minister Lily D’Ambrosio claims an all-electric home would cost less than having a gas connection, and asserts using ‘electricity would also make heating a home and cooking more affordable for Victorians.’

Those gas bills are absolutely eye watering.

Going all electric will save a new home owner $1,000 off their energy bills each and every year and if they’ve got solar panels, it’ll save them $2,200.

D’Ambrosio said

She also announced the government will provide a $1 million transition package to the construction industry, but does not apply to the commercial sector.

The training program will be co-designed with industry and the relevant unions to ensure it’s the best fit for them.

The design of that training will also take into account the new 7-star ratings for new homes.

She added

The department claims the move to electricity is a necessary tenet of meeting Victoria’s emission reductions targets of 75 to 80% by 2035 and net zero emissions by 2045.

Planning Minister Sonya Kilkenny explained there would be a transition time for homes that were already seeking approval and the adequate permits.

There will be changes to the Victorian planning provisions and the planning schemes.

There will be consultation, obviously, that takes place to support all of those in industry, local government, with these new changes.

Kilkenny said

While many associations and unions purportedly welcome and are fine with the change, some are of course critical of the move. Master Plumbers CEO Peter Daly said in a statement that they were blindsided by move and there has been no real clarity on the scheme as of yet.

For the Government to drop an announcement like this without any substantive consultation is disappointing but unfortunately not surprising given previous changes to regulation of the industry which proved to be unworkable.

The promise of only $1 million in new funding to assist the entire construction industry deliver what the Government has promised in this announcement is completely unrealistic.

The WinePress has been documenting the Western nutjobs who are trying to get rid of gas in homes and new buildings, and who already have, especially in parts of the United States. The Biden regime has been waging war against every appliance you can think of lately. Other countries are taking aim woodstoves and fireplaces.

Again, I say it all the time, as it is so obvious to anyone, that this is all about control and nothing more; and it will only cost homeowners and businesses more, not to mention more people are going to get sicker from the all electricity and EMF radiation.

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

Proverbs 29:2

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • They can try, but what with the alternatives & their ‘batteries’ and such catching fire & burning up the ships they’re shipped upon….I don’t really think they’re going to entirely get away with it. People aren’t stupid, & there are work-around’s. Especially in a nation that contains a remnant that remembers their heritage & the hard-won lessons fighting, resisting & exposing the Harlot & her Daughters to the honest & actual salvation of some. Not until after the catching away of he who letteth & who will let.
