A humanoid android led the South Korean national orchestra in late-June, marking the first time such a thing has ever happened.
“EveR 6,” the name of the bot, created by the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, was debuted at a concert National Theater of Korea. The robot led the musicians throughout the night, and bowed to the audience when finished.
Movements by a conductor are very detailed.
The robot was able to present such detailed moves much better than I had imagined.
Choi Soo-yeoul, the main conductor, said.
However the android has a “critical weakness” in that cannot hear, Soo-yeoul added.
The robot itself lacked tone and emotion. Reuters wrote: ‘Lee Young-ju, an audience member who studies traditional Korean music, said the robot’s moves, though impeccable in keeping the rhythm, lacked “breath” – or the ability to keep the orchestra ready to engage collectively and instantly – which he said was essential in performance.’
It seemed there was some work to be done for the robot to do the job.

Conductor Choi added,
It was a recital that showed that (robots and humans) can co-exist and complement each other, rather than one replacing the other.
Choi said after the concert was finished

“[…] rather than one replacing the other.” -Yeah, keep telling yourself that buddy: give it a few more years and you’ll be out of a job.
It’s so pathetic: what is it with people spending all this time and money trying to recreate basic actions that ordinarily cost nothing and anyone can learn? What a waste of the gifts God has given man.
He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.
Proverbs 18:9
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

Next, we’ll be having robot salt and pepper shakers that walk or roll on wheels to your dish and shake themselves onto your food.
No need to learn or play the guitar or piano anymore because all instruments will be ROBOTS with their own hands and fingers and can play any song you request it.
Sorry air traffic controllers, but now robots that can communicate clearly and easily instruct pilots and speak any and all languages will be taking your places.
Bye bye burger flippers, because now hamburger places like Fuddrucker’s, Red Robin’s, and Johnny Rockets will be having BURGER BOTS that can flip and assemble any burger as per your request, it can even use fry baskets, chop up the fixins, toast the buns, fry up some bacon, roast hot dogs and sausages, and even make fillet mignon!
Waiting for the church buildings to have robot preachers to go along with AI voice. Don’t forget robo cops for the marshal law that’s a coming…. forgot to mention President Johnney-Five
Good point.
