Last month the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) gave the all-clear seal of approval for pharmaceutical and aggrotech monopoly Bayer, for their newest genetically modified (GMO) corn the company calls the “Preceon Smart Corn System.”
The USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) published their review on June 7th, concluding that it is safe to use, claiming “this plant unlikely to pose an increased plant pest risk compared to other cultivated corn plants,” the department said in its statement.
‘Bayer CropScience LP modified the corn plant to reduce gibberellic acid, a plant growth hormone, to produce shorter plants and reduce the likelihood of lodging (stem buckling),’ APHIS added.

However Bayer still requires the greenlight from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) before this smart corn can be planted in the United States, which may still take some time.
Bayer’s new corn is designed to be less than 7 feet in height, shorter than the typical 9 to 12 feet tall; the smaller stature allowing for more adjustable timing and capability to use ground application of other crop inputs, such as fungicides, insecticides and nitrogen; the ears should be similar to conventional yields, greater than 2 feet; and will allow for the potential of increased harvests and maximizing the acres of land.

Corn is already heavily genetically modified and sprayed like crazy with chemical and pesticides, making it one of the absolute worst things to consume as an American.
