Bee Informed released their annual report last week that the U.S. bee farmers lost an estimated 48% of their honeybee colonies in 2022-2023. This is the country’s second highest death rate in history, the highest coming in at 2020-2021 at 51%.
Bee Informed explained that ‘3,006 beekeepers from across the United States provided valid survey responses. These beekeepers collectively managed 314,360 colonies on 1 October 2022, representing 12% of the estimated 2.70 million managed honey-producing colonies in the country in 2022 (USDA NASS, 2023).’
Moreover, the honeybee raising industry is basically divided up into three categories: ‘Backyard (managing up to 50 colonies), Sideline (managing 51-500), and commercial (managing >500 colonies), with the majority of colonies being managed by commercial operations, even though they are a small proportion of beekeepers,’ Bee Informed noted.
According to the surveys collected, the biggest reason for all the bees’ deaths were caused by “Varroa destructor,” a parasitic mite that feeds on the honeybees and then can spread throughout the rest of the hive. This was observed all across all three beekeeping industries. Other factors included “adverse weather,” starvation, problems with the queen bee, along with pesticides killing them.
Although the total number of honey bee colonies in the country has remained relatively stable over the last 20 years (~2.6 million colonies according to the USDA NASS Honey Reports), loss rates remain high, indicating that beekeepers are under substantial pressure to recover from losses by creating new colonies every year.
Bee Informed concluded
Jeff Pettis, a former government bee scientist and current president of the global beekeeper association Apimondia, commented on the study and The Associated Press in a statement:
This is a very troubling loss number when we barely manage sufficient colonies to meet pollination demands in the U.S. It also highlights the hard work that beekeepers must do to rebuild their colony numbers each year.
Some are blaming these rise in deaths due to “climate change.”
Pollinators are dying because their food and homes are disappearing, diseases have increased, and rising temperatures and natural disasters are affecting their ability to survive—all of which are related to climate change.
Pollinator Partnership said in a statement
Last year The WinePress reported on a trend that noted that honeybees themselves are living noticeably shorter lifespans since the 1970s.
In January the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved a first-ever vaccine for honeybee colonies, but little to no evidence has been recorded concerning its long terms effects for the bees, the pollination, the honey, and so forth.
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
As I have noted before, another huge reason that bee populations are dying-off so rapidly and their lifespans continue shrink, is also due to high EMF environments. We know the effects it has on people, so it should not come as a surprise that little tiny insects that rely on vibrations and soundwaves are massively effected.

Coupled with that and all the other listed reasons (minus the climate change rhetoric), it’s creating a disaster.
No bees, no food.
And then you factor in the droughts, dearth, flooding; shipping and supply chain hiccups we’ve seen severely ratchet up within the last decade – we are headed into some serious famine and food shortages down the road. Sporadic reports of shortages are being published all the time, so more stores and locations are having a hard time meeting demand amidst high inflation.
[17] Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil. [18] And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them: [19] Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but ye would not hear, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 29:17-19
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

Jeremiah 29:17-19 Is talking to Israel I believe, but this can and will apply to ANY nation.
America is next!
War with Russia/war in the streets, an attack from Russia or China on US soil
Economic collapse and the US Dollar losing its global reserve currency status
More death jab deaths
More farms and food factories being blown up and burned even a CHOCOLATE FACTORY in Redding, Pennsylvania.
America is getting AXED!
The 5g must have been really cranked up in 2020 that’s why everyone was sick with “covid” and you had the most bee deaths.
I agree. That was the most probably cause for all the random sickness. 5G was installed in Wuhan in September, 2019, so…
