The faux lifeforms created do not have a beating heart, a digestive tract, or the early stages of a brain, but do include cells that normally would go on to form the placenta, yolk sac and the embryo itself.
Professor Magdalena Żernicka-Goetz, of the University of Cambridge and the California Institute of Technology, shared the research in a plenary address last week at the International Society for Stem Cell Research’s annual meeting in Boston.
We can create human embryo-like models by the reprogramming of [embryonic stem] cells.
She said
Robin Lovell-Badge, head of stem cell biology and developmental genetics at London’s Francis Crick Institute, told The Guardian in statement:
The idea is that if you really model normal human embryonic development using stem cells, you can gain an awful lot of information about how we begin development, what can go wrong, without having to use early embryos for research.
That’s very difficult to answer. It’s going to be hard to tell whether there’s an intrinsic problem with them or whether it’s just technical.
If the whole intention is that these models are very much like normal embryos, then in a way they should be treated the same. Currently in legislation they’re not. People are worried about this.
He explained
While the experiment is certainly a bellwether and has not been formally published in a scientific journal yet, the research has entered into uncharted and unregulated territory, which is prompting scientists to examine these guardrails, including Żernicka-Goetz.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Genesis 2:7
In man’s attempt to play God and recreate one of their own – man without a soul and a spirit is just an animated corpse, a zombie. The dead have created the dead. Man will NEVER come close to creating what God can.
As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
Ecclesiastes 11:5
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

God will put an end to this real soon
Very soon He will! Playing God always ends in disaster.
blasphemous! that will not end well. that’s a guarantee.
