“It’s kind of scary but exciting, because it’s the future. We’ll just have to see where that leads,” McCartney said.

The Beatles, arguably one of if not the most popular and influential rock bands of all time, will be releasing a final record after decades since the band broke up in early 1970, but with an interesting caveat: it uses artificial intelligence to bring the studio album to fruition.

Surviving member and bassist Paul McCartney recently told BBC Radio 4 that this will will be “the last Beatles record” ever released. “We just finished it up, it’ll be released this year,” McCartney revealed. The other surviving member and drummer Ringo Starr worked on this new album also.

But the band and studio crew utilized AI to bring back John Lennon’s voice to finish previously recorded songs that were never mastered from old demo tapes recorded before his death, that AI was then able to isolate his vocals and “extricate” them,” the famous musician said. Lennon was fatally shot in New York City in 1980.

The tapes were gifted to McCartney from Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono, according to author Keith Badman.

We were able to take John’s voice and get it pure through this AI, so that then we could mix the record as you would normally do. So, it gives you some sort of leeway.

McCartney said, jokingly noting that he did not sit down at a keyboard and told ChatGPT, “sing a John Lennon verse.”

McCartney saw a new vision for his music and for The Beatles after he saw Peter Jackson, the well-known filmmaker and documentarist, revive archived clips and film for the documentary Get Back – the title from a song on The Beatles last official studio album Let It Be.

He was able to extricate John’s voice from a ropey little bit of cassette which had John’s voice and a piano. He could separate them with AI. They could, they’d tell the machine, ‘That’s a voice. This is a guitar. Lose the guitar.’ And he did that.

McCartney said of the process

McCartney and crew have previously tried to splice together this album but never released it due to its poor quality of Lennon’s vocals, McCartney noted, adding that now deceased lead guitarist George Harrison was not in favor of it because of the shotty quality.

It didn’t have a very good title, it needed a bit of reworking, but it had a beautiful verse and it had John singing it.

[But] George didn’t like it. The Beatles being a democracy, we didn’t do it.

McCartney added

But even McCatney has his concerns with the expansion of AI and what it can do.

I’m not on the internet that much [but] people will say to me, ‘Oh, yeah, there’s a track where John’s singing one of my songs’, and it’s just AI, you know?

It’s kind of scary but exciting, because it’s the future. We’ll just have to see where that leads.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

Oh, I’ll tell you where it’s going to lead:

The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour.

Proverbs 21:25

AI is rapidly destroying everything and removing the literal life and spirit of everything, replacing actual talent, skill, and ability with sterile garbage, creating sluggards who don’t have a desire to do or achieve anything. While I am not a fan of The Beatles, nor am I recommending them, I’m simply just pointing out how ridiculous this all is, and how AI is ruining everything.

In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.

Proverbs 29:6

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • John Lennon is burning in Hell! He rejected, mocked, and hated the Lord Jesus Christ and the King James Bible. Him and the Beatles helping make America go from bad to worse!

As for the AI invention, here’s a verse for that:
    Ecclesiastes 7:29
“Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.”

  • Ah yes, the Bitols. How long has it been, 60 years? Yet pop culture still perpetuate these satanists for the younger generation today. More insidious compared to the more brash and direct heavy metal and hard rock music since their tunes are under the guise of seemingly innocent and more melodic lyrics and musical structures. Parents allowing young children to listen to their spell-filled songs. There was a time in America when people publicly burned their records for Lennon’s remark:

“Christianity will go. It will vanish and shrink. I don’t know what will go first, rock ‘n’ roll or Christianity. We’re more popular than Jesus now. Jesus was all right, but his disciples were thick and ordinary. It’s them twisting it that ruins it for me.”

Spoken like a true, lost man ignorant of the scriptures. But it’s looking more and more that he was right, given the state of our society today. Nowadays, who’s burning records of the wicked pop musicians?
