“We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people. We are in the business of bringing people together over a beer.”

Brendan Whitworth, CEO of Anheuser-Busch, parent company of the popular beer brand Bud Light, issued a broad statement to Americans after facing heavy backlash due to the brand promoting transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney.

In a statement published today, Whitworth wrote:

As the CEO of a company founded in America’s heartland more than 165 years ago, I am responsible for ensuring every consumer feels proud of the beer we brew.

We’re honored to be part of the fabric of this country. Anheuser-Busch employs more than 18,000 people and our independent distributors employ an additional 47,000 valued colleagues. We have thousands of partners, millions of fans and a proud history supporting our communities, military, first responders, sports fans and hard-working Americans everywhere.

We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people. We are in the business of bringing people together over a beer.

My time serving this country taught me the importance of accountability and the values upon which America was founded: freedom, hard work and respect for one another. As CEO of Anheuser-Busch, I am focused on building and protecting our remarkable history and heritage.

I care deeply about this country, this company, our brands and our partners. I spend much of my time traveling across America, listening to and learning from our customers, distributors and others.

Moving forward, I will continue to work tirelessly to bring great beers to consumers across our nation.

Since Bud Light sponsored Mulvaney, a massive nationwide buycott ensued, with rock star Kid Rock shooting up a stack of Bud Light cans in response, for example.

Yahoo Finance reported yesterday: “Anheuser-Busch stock loses over $5 billion in market cap following backlash to trans spokesperson.”

The company’s stock price also took a temporary dip.

[16] Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. [17] For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

Hebrews 12:16-17

This was no apology at all. This was just them acknowledging that they support sodomy but are too scared to take a stand against it. You can’t have your cake and eat it too.

I don’t drink beer anyways, so I really don’t care, and I am not surprised by any of this. Most of these big brands are full of chemicals and contaminated waters.

This has become another shot fired in the culture war, when it truth most of these other companies support and fund sodomy in some fashion. But in time people will forget about this.

If you think the sodomy push has been really bad this year so far, then buckle-up for June because it’s going to be easily the worst by far…

[13] Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee? [14] Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts? [15] And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.

Malachi 3:13-15

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • lol….typical sales: talking out of both sides of their mouth! Go figure, usually selling sin is easy.
Now even selling sin gets harder in nutso land. And now folks are seeing the ‘other side’ of being part of the ‘brotherhood’, too. The lower levels hadn’t figured on this woke insanity, I’m thinking. A lot of good old boy & girl beer drinkers aren’t going to go for the ‘woke’ stuff. More go woke, go broke crafted socialist mayhem.

  • As with “Anheuser-Busch” — so too with ANY of these beastly, worldly entities, the way you bring them to a halt, along with their stupid agenda’s and worldly ideologies is to hit them where it hurts them the most. . .
Right square in the “WALLET.” ($). The MOMENT you mess up their flow of “mammon” – “they” react.
As SOON as the boycott hit their pocket-god “mammon”, they shifted gears, Works every time.

    • Funny you should say: Donald Trump Jr. came out today and said that he will no longer be protesting Bud Light because they donate to more GOP campaigns than Dems, and encourages everyone do the same. Yup, mammon only matters at the end of the day: all these “righteous” stances they take are just a façade to get votes.
