The White House and Biden administration have threatened to cut funding to Uganda, if their president signs-off on a bill that would imprison Ugandans for promoting LGTBQIA+ and same-sex marriage, and possibly even trigger the death penalty.
Several days ago The WinePress reported that the Ugandan Parliament voted almost unanimously to heavily criminalize sympathizers and practitioners of anything affiliated to the professed LGTBQIA+ lifestyle and marriage. This could lead to the death penalty in an escalated situation, if the courts determine that to be the case. All that is left is for President Yoweri Museveni to sign the legislation into law. He has indicated that he is for the bill and has rebuked the United States for trying to influence the world with its progressivism.
The homosexuals are deviations from normal. Why? Is it by nature or nurture. We need to answer these questions.
We need a medical opinion on that. We shall discuss it thoroughly.
Western countries should stop wasting the time of humanity by trying to impose their practices on other people.
Europeans and other groups marry cousins and near relatives. Here, marrying in one’s clan is taboo. Should we impose sanctions on them for marrying relatives? This is not our job.
He stated
The Western world has blasted Uganda for imposing such a swift and strict punishment, and the White House was one such group.
John Kirby, National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications, said in a briefing on Wednesday that there could be “repercussions that we would have to take.” He added that President Joe Biden believes LGBTQ+ rights “are human rights,” and that this is “a core part of our foreign policy.”
That would be really unfortunate because so much of the economic assistance that we provide Uganda is health assistance.
President Biden has been nothing but consistent about his foundational belief in human rights, and LGBTQ+ rights are human rights.
We’re never going to be shy or bashful in speaking up about those rights for individuals to live as they deem fit, as they want to live.
And that’s something that’s a core part of our foreign policy and it will remain so.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre – who is married to another woman -also stated during a press conference that the administration is concerned about Uganda’s ambitions, citing “grave concerns.”
If the AHA is signed into law and enacted, it would impinge upon universal human rights, jeopardize progress in the fight against HIV/AIDS, deter tourism and invest in Uganda and damage Uganda’s international reputation. The bill is one of the most extreme anti-LGBTQI+ laws in the world.
The Press Secretary warned
Last week, prior to Ugandan Parliament deliberating on the bill, the U.S. Department of State insinuated that they could pull their funding to Uganda if this bill is passed.
The United States provides significant health and development assistance to Uganda, with a total assistance budget exceeding $950 million per year. The U.S. government plays a key role in improving health outcomes by strengthening Uganda’s capacity to sustainably address emerging health threats, tuberculosis (TB), malaria, maternal/child health, family planning, and HIV/AIDS (including by providing anti-retroviral treatment for more than 1.2 million Ugandans).
Our assistance also focuses on boosting economic growth and agricultural productivity, including through improving educational outcomes; and supporting democratic governance through inclusive, accountable institutions. The U.S. mission is working with the government of Uganda to improve tax collection and oil revenue management, and to increase Uganda’s domestic funding for public services and the national response to HIV/AIDS.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY
An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.
Proverbs 29:27
While there is probably more to this move to criminalize sodomy in Uganda than we realize and meets the eye – what cannot be disputed and is plain to see, is one nation is taking a stance against what God calls an abomination; and then you have the Divided States of America, land of the abomination, home of the atrocity, pushing back against this.
America and the West love and adore wickedness and abominations. Anything that is contrary to God’s word they are for it. Therefore as can be seen clearly playing out, the power shift is heading Eastward. No, that does not mean they are free of error and wickedness, but it does mean that God will favor those lands over those that not only refuse to repent, but are willing to wage war and oppress those who are taking stands against sin.
Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
Proverbs 14:34
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

Uganda is on the right track! Sure most if not all are not saved, but because of this hardcore stance against sodomy and anything that harms children, God is gonna have some mercy and grace for that nation.
As for America the Great Satan, your days are numbered!
According to google, 84% of the country is Christian. I think the people living there are happy with their leadership. Meanwhile in the west…
I know that GOD is going to show me mercy, for I Trust in him as my hope (I am born again by the way if you were wondering). Even though USA is finished for, I will be spared.
Amen, Thomas.
