“We anticipate OI-based biocomputing systems to allow faster decision-making, continuous learning during tasks, and greater energy and data efficiency.”

Now that the artificial intelligence (AI) has solidified itself amongst the common masses, scientists are now looking to combine this with living tissues to create what is now called “organoid intelligence (OI).”

Essentially scientists are trying to create a functional brain identical to ours from scratch.

On February 27th a paper was published in the journal Frontiers, authored by 25 different scientists and researchers primarily from the United States, with a smidge from Europe and Australia. The detailed paper is called “Organoid intelligence (OI): the new frontier in biocomputing and intelligence-in-a-dish.”

Scientists wrote (in part) in the abstract about their endeavor:

Recent advances in human stem cell-derived brain organoids promise to replicate critical molecular and cellular aspects of learning and memory and possibly aspects of cognition in vitro.

Coining the term “organoid intelligence” (OI) to encompass these developments, we present a collaborative program to implement the vision of a multidisciplinary field of OI. This aims to establish OI as a form of genuine biological computing that harnesses brain organoids using scientific and bioengineering advances in an ethically responsible manner.

Standardized, 3D, myelinated brain organoids can now be produced with high cell density and enriched levels of glial cells and gene expression critical for learning. Integrated microfluidic perfusion systems can support scalable and durable culturing, and spatiotemporal chemical signaling.

We envisage complex, networked interfaces whereby brain organoids are connected with real-world sensors and output devices, and ultimately with each other and with sensory organ organoids (e.g. retinal organoids), and are trained using biofeedback, big-data warehousing, and machine learning methods.

We anticipate OI-based biocomputing systems to allow faster decision-making, continuous learning during tasks, and greater energy and data efficiency. Furthermore, the development of “intelligence-in-a-dish” could help elucidate the pathophysiology of devastating developmental and degenerative diseases (such as dementia), potentially aiding the identification of novel therapeutic approaches to address major global unmet needs.

In a related press release, Thomas Hartung, a scientist from Johns Hopkins University and one of the authors of the paper, added,

For example, we could compare memory formation in organoids derived from healthy people and from Alzheimer’s patients, and try to repair relative deficits. We could also use OI to test whether certain substances, such as pesticides, cause memory or learning problems.

In short, Popular Mechanics, reporting on this scientific development, wrote:

It’s exciting to think about, but it’s complicated, and not just from a technological perspective. Research like this brings up plenty of thorny ethical considerations. Is it okay to use people’s cells to make computers? Could a computer made of human cells develop a consciousness? And if it does, is it okay to keep that consciousness locked into the role of a computer? We’re not anywhere close to having OI in our laptops or phones, so we don’t need to have all of those answers just yet. But they need to be a part of the conversation around OI, no matter what stage the technology is currently in.

[25] To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One. [26] Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.

Isaiah 40:25-26

This is another feeble attempt by man, operating under the power and influence of Satan (Ephesians 2:1-3; Job 41) to mock God’s creation; believing themselves to be their own gods who know good and evil (Genesis 3:1-6), and thus pretend to be their own creator and shape mankind in their own image and likeness.

The true Creator will let this go for a bit but it will not last. But we can see where these scientist’s ambitions lie: to create a fully functional humanoid, not just a robot that looks like a Star Wars character, but an actual cyborg.

Read Job chapters 38-41 sometime. God challenges Job and inquires him to answer a series of questions, because Job had become high-minded. God asked these questions because there is not a single person that has ever lived or ever will that will be able to answer them. As intelligent as God made us, our knowledge and wisdom is so finite compared to God’s it could not even be measured under a microscope (1 Corinthians 1:18-31).

[19] Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof, [20] That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof? [21] Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great? [36] Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?

Job 38:19-21, 36

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • just like star wars from a man to an animal man to a machine man to a machine.

basically they are sowing their own death and still they are not ahead of the kjb.

what is their fascination with perverting mankinds dna, God’s creation.

I personally think its their lack of knowledge in God’s word that perverts their mind.

self destruction and self mutilation is not science, its perversion.

Real science understands the severity and danger of tampering, changing and distorting DNA is asking for irreversible and just like in Noah’s time deadly consequences and outcomes or outbreaks.

Just because one can do something doesnt mean it should be done, especially when its wrong.

    Great article Jacob.

  • Building the beast, the idol shepherd. ‘Ethics’….’socially responsible’….without truth. Opposite land. Unimaginable evil. Would that these men would respond as Job. I was struck by the run beginning with Silicon Valley Bank, the wicked powers that shouldn’t be assuming the assets. No doubt such knowledge as what’s involved in this wickedness, & such projects as this.
