“There has been a lack of communication with me and other Indiana officials about this decision,” the Hoosier Governor said.

As the cleanup continues in East Palestine, Ohio, after a Norfolk Southern train derailed and released toxic chemicals into the ground and atmosphere, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are looking for places to dump the waste somewhere, and people are not happy about it.

The waste and debris are being sent to multiple locations, some in Ohio, and other bits being transported to neighboring Indiana, and in Texas. But the problem is no one really wants it in there towns and states.

Some of the waste is being sent to a landfill in Roachdale, Indiana. But Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb issued a statement chastising the EPA for their decision.

I continue to object to the EPA Administrator’s decision, from Washington, D.C., to move hazardous waste from the East Palestine train derailment to Indiana. Further, there has been a lack of communication with me and other Indiana officials about this decision.

After learning third-hand that materials may be transported to our state yesterday, I directed my environmental director to reach out to the agency. The materials should go to the nearest facilities, not moved from the far eastern side of Ohio to the far western side of Indiana. I have made a request to speak to the administrator to discuss this matter. I want to know exactly what precautions will be taken in the transport and disposition of the materials.

Holcomb stated

Some of the waste will also being going to suburb in Houston, Texas. But Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo has frustratingly condemned this as well.

I and my office heard today that ‘firefighting water’ from the East Palestine, Ohio, train derailment is slated to be disposed of in our county.

Our Harris County Pollution Control Department and Harris County Attorney’s have reached out to the company and the Environmental Protection Agency to receive more information.

She stated

Some wasted has already been sent to Texas but more is reportedly on the way.

ABC 13 reported:

Harris County leaders entered Thursday with the understanding that firefighting water runoff from the Ohio train derailment 1,300 miles away is on its way to a Deer Park toxic disposal facility.

But, according to Judge Lina Hidalgo, about half a million gallons of that liquid waste arrived at Texas Molecular in the middle of last week, and the facility will receive about 2 million gallons total.

The county judge delivered an update in a news conference organized at the last minute Thursday night after she said she spoke with Texas Molecular, as well as other state and federal agencies.

At the heart of her message was frustration over her and other leaders receiving little communication about the incoming waste, with safety being the main concern. Hidalgo also said it didn’t seem that agencies like the EPA have the full picture of what’s going on, calling it a “problem.”

Since Tuesday, when ABC13 broke news about the incoming waste, Texas Molecular has tried to assure county leaders that it will be able to handle a project of this size, pointing at previous events like taking in runoff from the ITC facility fire in 2019.

Texas Molecular provided a statement on Wednesday with details, saying it specializes in the disposal of chemical waste and describes the liquid that’s being trucked to Deer Park as “firefighting water” – a mix of water and chemicals that was used to put out the massive fire that erupted after the crash.

The company says the vinyl chloride that burned during the accident is a component in the runoff wastewater but is present in a small amount.

Other parts of Ohio are seeing some of the waste being dumped there, too. Norfolk Southern is sending some of the solid waste to an incinerator in East Liverpool, Ohio, and another incinerator in Grafton, Ohio. The Associated Press added that ‘some of the remaining liquid waste is going to a facility in Vickery, Ohio, for disposal in an underground injection well.’

President Biden had previously announced that the CDC would be conducting door-to-door check-ins, but some residents report that they have not been visited once, claiming that they “don’t care.”

Other parts of the waste has been sent to Michigan already, but there are new reports published today that indicate that will no longer be happening.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.

Ecclesiastes 5:8

I guess in the name of “equity” and “inclusivity,” everyone gets a trophy some toxic waste, too!

I noted in another report dealing with this East Palestine debacle that the EPA has already admitted to their being tons of vinyl chloride contamination around the country. Sincere or not, these politicians kind of have to say something at this point, and claim to be against this stuff, just like all the leech politicians who have visited East Palestine for clout. East Palestine has become a polarizing topic right now so it would not be prudent for these politicians to remain neutral right now.

[8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • America is getting slammed with God’s judgement.
Psalm 91 applies to true believers and those coming to true repentance and salvation and the King James Bible, not to general populace.

These church buildings are unsafe because they’re false and go back to the Vatican just like the satanic Bible PerVersions. So therefore, they’re gonna be exposed to God’s judgement (SEE 1 Peter 4:17.)

  • Psalm 118:6
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

    Hebrews 13:5-6
5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

    Hang in there Jacob.

      • I have Indiana heritage and I currently live in Texas.
Brother, the pride in Texas is just unreal! Of all the fifty states with their pride, Texas thinks it’s all that!

That pride is gonna be severely and harshly abased.
