The heavily reported balloon that the Pentagon and the media deemed to be a Chinese spy balloon, was reportedly shot down earlier today. The balloon had been allowed to purportedly float across the country and now has allegedly made its way off the Carolina coast, where it was then ordered to be shot out of the sky.
As the balloon reportedly floated over the U.S., the Pentagon again said they did not shoot it down because ‘the resulting debris from a strike of this large balloon could be harmful to people on the ground and result in property damage,’ they said in their release.
However, Air Force Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder said that this balloon is carrying a payload but did not provide and more details about the payload.
According to the Associated Press, President Joe Biden gave the order to shoot it down.
They successfully took it down and I want to complement our aviators who did it.
Biden said after getting off Air Force One en route to Camp David.
The AP reported:
Fighter jets shot down the giant white balloon off the Carolina coast after it traversed sensitive military sites across North America and became the latest flashpoint in tensions between Washington and Beijing.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in a statement that Biden approved the shootdown on Wednesday, saying it should be done “as soon as the mission could be accomplished without undue risk to American lives under the balloon’s path.”
Television footage showed a small explosion, followed by the balloon descending toward the water. U.S. military jets were seen flying in the vicinity and ships were deployed in the water to mount the recovery operation.
Officials were aiming to time the operation so they could recover as much of the debris as possible before it sinks into the ocean. The Pentagon had previously estimated that any debris field would be substantial.
The balloon was spotted Saturday morning over the Carolinas as it approached the coast. In preparation for the operation, the FAA Administration temporarily closed airspace over the Carolina coastline, including the airports in Charleston and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Wilmington, North Carolina. The FAA rerouted air traffic from the area and warned of delays as a result of the flight restrictions.
The Coast Guard advised mariners to immediately leave the area because of U.S. military operations “that present a significant hazard.”
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellers of peace is joy.
Proverbs 12:20
I still think this is just a mass-psychosis event being formed. I always say it: if it’s in the media, there’s a reason. The media does not give news, they push agendas and manipulate opinions. And the fact that media, both domestically and internationally, have heavily reported on it seriously leads me to believe this is not what it seems.
If I am wrong and I am proven to be wrong, then I will gladly correct myself, but I seriously think this is another hoodwink on the masses.
It should also be noted that Biden’s State of the Union Address is in a few days, so this military response will give him something to talk about and fill-in for his nothing burger reign.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

Thank you so much Jacob for this article. I agree something is VERY off with the whole story. The part where the Pentagon says” they did not shoot it down because ‘the resulting debris from a strike of this large balloon could be harmful to people on the ground and result in property damage” should be a dead giveaway to everyone right? We all know the Pentagon doesn’t care about us.
Trying to prepare us for possible future war with China
They had to wait…BS…if it was real it would have been shoot down long before this and would have told no one. Oh let’s just let them collect data first, then shoot it down. We know it’s not ours because it don’t have a alphabet mafia flag on it
They say they had to wait until it was away from leaving debris? And concern for civilians on the ground. Bullogne! What it were an invasion force with airborne troops or bomber aircraft, what then?
It isn’t good one way or the other! A trial run for an EMP strike, or drop another man-made virus upon Americans. It may be another way of prodding our emotions and get us to agree to engage towards China And/OR… give up more Freedoms for security whatever , it aint good!
The “spy balloon” gets shot down.
Then the director yells “…and CUT!”
That’s a wrap, folks. Take five.
This is so stupid. I thought the whole idea of “Spying” was not being seen. Sending a big white balloon up in the sky where everyone can see it is not the definition of spying. Psyop.
Bingo! Whatever happen to ordinary ‘common sense’?
A friend sent me a note saying that it is NASa that uses up to 90% of all available helium, so whatever it was in the sky probably did not come from China. Jacob is right when he says if it’s in the news, it’s there to push an agenda or manipulate people’s minds, and especially when it is covered in the international press, which does the same thing to their own audience. The “shoot-down” could easily be CGI effects. As far as any nuclear strike saber rattling, there are some out there who doubt that there is even such a thing as “AIRBORNE” nuclear strikes. The nuclear device has to be detonated on the ground, at a certain time and alignment with the sun. An Austrailian aviator named Bruce Cathie wrote a book about this called “Harmonic 33”, but good luck trying to find a copy. I think the movie “The Sum of All Fears” got it as close to correct as any….a nuclear device hidden in a vending machine was detonated on the ground in some football stadium while a game was going on somewhere on the East Coast, if I remember correctly. Remember, the movies tell the truth and the news tell the lies. The “Cold War” was most likely the longest running hoax of the 20th century.
its a bird , its a plane , its …… lol
