Today in Davos, Switzerland, for the annual World Economic Forum meeting Vera Jourová Vice-President for Values and Transparency of the European Commission, giggly said that the United States will “soon” have “illegal hate speech” policies in place.
The Vice-President was joined by former CNN anchor Brian Stelter; Arthur Gregg Sulzberger, Chairman and Publisher for The New York Times; Jeanne Bourgault, President and Chief Executive Officer of Internews; and Seth Moulton, Congressman from Massachusetts (D), and U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee.
The panel discussion was titled “The Clear and Present Danger of Disinformation,” which went on for a little over 45 minutes.
Stelter introduced the panel by stating, “and since we’re being livestreamed, […] we can try put some real information out into the world to make up for all the crazy.”
Roughly 31 minutes in to the discussion Jourová laughingly made this admission on how to tackle hate speech:
For hate speech, we need the people who understand the language and the case law in the country, because what qualifies as hate speech, illegal hate speech, which you will have soon also in the U.S., we have a strong reason why we have this in the criminal law.
We need the platforms to simply work with the language and identify such cases. The AI would be too dangerous.
Jourová’s statements align with what the WEF has previously advocated for as well. Other contributors for the WEF have said that AI and human intelligence should be merged to properly disseminate “disinformation” and “hate speech,” because either extreme simply will not be able to properly sift between the information they want people to see.
Moreover, the WEF heavily favors what they call the “DQ Institute” – which is basically a new retroactive social credit score that monitors online behavior, ultimately designed to replace the IQ test.

Indeed, what she is saying will mostly likely come to pass, as the masses couldn’t care less as long as they are fed cheap and quick thrills, and swallow everything the TV screen and smartphone tells them to believe.
Our days online are numbered; but I know I will try to maximize what time the Lord still grants me to warn the brethren and the secular world as well.
It’s interesting too because this morning the WEF was livestreaming all of their panel discussions on YouTube. I later wanted to go through some of them to watch and probably report on, but the WEF decided to private most of them, and the only way to access them is through their website. Rather odd.
