The following report is a press release by the NEA:
Our students are shouldering the accumulation of inherited racial trauma―such as implicit bias or racism―and can affect young people’s ability to learn, make responsible decisions, or maintain healthy relationships. It is imperative to recognize the effects of racial trauma in order to restore equity and well-being.
This course will discuss race-based trauma, its causes and effects and offer educators research-based tools to address it. This information will also help educators create healing-centered environments for all students.
- Course runs February 6 – March 13, 2023
- Registration Closes: January 27, 2023

AUTHOR COMMENTARY
Add this to the endless reasons why your children should not and can not be in a public school. They are getting blasted at every angle with all sorts of wickedness and abominations, and never actually taught anything of real value.
[13] Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. [14] But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. [15] This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. [16] For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. [17] But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. [18] And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
