Just a little over a week into the new year and some school districts across the United States are now once again mandating mask-wearing for staff and students.

ABC News reported: ‘Before winter break, districts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania announced they would temporarily be requiring masks among students and staff members amid a surge of respiratory illnesses. Now schools in Massachusetts and Michigan are following suit while Chicago schools are asking students to take rapid tests before classes start.’

In Boston, Massachusetts, for example, Chelsea Public Schools announced in a letter to families that they will be reinstating a mask mandate because Suffolk County was designated as a “high risk” for Covid infections, per the CDCs guidance. The school did not say how long the mandate will remain in place.

As a result of this designation, Chelsea Public Schools will implement a mask mandate, effective on Monday, January 9. Masks must be worn in school buildings at all times except when eating or drinking…

Mask wearing will continue to remain mandatory for any person visiting our school health offices, and anyone returning to school from a five-day quarantine following a positive COVID-19 diagnosis.

Turning towards the Great Lakes states, Ann Arbor Public Schools in Michigan announced that they would be reinstating the necessity of masking beginning yesterday, January 9th, and will last until the 20th at the least, after a handful schools were forced to suspend in-building gatherings due to a rise in respiratory cases and illnesses, not necessarily only because of Covid.

The Ann Arbor Public Schools will require well-fitting masks to be worn by students, staff and visitors while indoors in AAPS schools, beginning on January 9th and during the first two weeks following the winter break. Extra masks are available at all school buildings for use by students and staff.

Also in the Midwest, Chicago, Illinois schools are asking students to perform rapid Covid tests at home before come to school, per a letter written to staff, students, and parents.

In order to keep our school communities safe, please test for COVID-19 before returning to school. If you test positive, please report the positive test using the COVID-19 Self-Reporting Form, and follow the guidance outlined on our safety page.

The notice reads

Almost a week ago schools in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have implemented a two-week mask mandate, that, according to local correspondents, “should” only last these two weeks.

Colleges are debating reinstating masks too. Duke University is considering that at the moment, for example.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

An important tidbit to also consider is that many of these schools, and probably more to come, are mandating masks not just for the mystical Covid but also for the flu and RSV. Therefore if the CDC, local county health officials, and/or the school reports high sickness of any kind, masks, social distancing, and closures will be implemented.

Welcome to the “new normal.” After having a brief reprieve in 2022, these invasive, ineffective, and draconian mandates are slowly reappearing with next to no opposition; now that public has been conditioned to accept it as common.

Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.

Proverbs 16:22

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • I will not be wearing a mask ever. Jacob have you been battling with illness at all recently? My family has. I ask you please pray for us. We are Non-Death Jabbed obviously

    • My family has been getting sick, too. My dad and I are the only ones that are not jabbed, but he too has been feeling sick lately for the last several weeks. I have been fine overall, but I have had an abnormal amount of headaches lately which I cannot explain, because I have not done anything to warrant them (so I think anyways). Maybe the goonies are starting to crank-up the 5G signaling? Or the vaxxed are shedding more?

      • I think the 5G has been turned up higher or something. I have been on and off sick for several weeks now. Never been like this in my life. But, I do work with jabbed coworkers. We have been taking herbal tinctures of elderberry and drinking lemon water and apple cider vinegar. Seems nothing makes it go away completely.

        • You might consider supplementing N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC), especially in tandem with high-vitamin C foods for raised benefits. NAC is very good at enhancing the immune system, and is a heavy metal detoxifier and cleanser of pharmaceuticals. The FDA is cracking down on it, and Amazon is now banning the sale of it since 2021. Rather curious. I take NAC for a variety of reasons, but a big one is an attempt to try and stave off the shedders as best as I can.
