It is being widely reported that many customers across many states on the Eastern and Southern half of the country are losing power in many places, with some companies voluntarily cutting the power.
Tennessee Valley Authority tweeted a statement afternoon today urging customers to mitigate and reduce their electricity consumption to ease the grid. Tennessee counties have been experiencing rolling blackouts.
Meanwhile North Carolina is reporting over 262,000 people without power (at the time of this publication), down from what it was earlier today.
Duke Energy based in the Carolinas announced they would be doing rolling blackouts, that reportedly go in 15-30 minute cycles though these times maybe extended for certain areas.
Due to extremely cold temperatures driving unusually high demand, we have begun short, temporary power outages across our system. These emergency outages, also known as rolling blackouts, are necessary to protect the energy grid against longer, more widespread outages.
We are in the process of restoring those temporary outages now, which is a methodical process that will occur throughout the morning to ensure that we can bring each customer back up reliably without affecting other customers.
Alabama has also seen blackouts.
“Please turn your thermostat down to 65-68 degrees F for the next 48 hours. Together, we can weather this extreme cold,” Spire natural gas said.
Poplar Preparedness summarized some of the other outages being reported, and helpful tips on what to do for extended outages.

I’m sure the elites are happy right now: everything is falling into place, waiting for the outcry of people to get upset and call for change, and their subsequent enslavement.
[30] There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD. [31] The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD. Proverbs 21:30-31
This is why I have been repeatedly warning everyone to have the necessary preparations in place. It is only December: we still have many months to go for the Winter, not even including power grid failure heading into the Spring and Summer.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
