Stanford University, considered to be one of the most prestigious colleges in the United States – ranked #2 by Top Universities and tied for #3 by US News – published what they call the “Elimination of Harmful Language Initiative” that urges students and staff to stop using and replace certain words that may be deemed offensive to others.
The list was first in May of this year but only now is it starting to see the light of day.
The Elimination of Harmful Language Initiative (EHLI) is a multi-phase, multi-year project to address harmful language in IT at Stanford. EHLI is one of the actions prioritized in the Statement of Solidarity and Commitment to Action, which was published by the Stanford CIO Council and People of Color in Technology (POC-IT) affinity group in December 2020 as part of the IDEAL IT strategic initiative.
Terms on the website are grouped into categories: Ableist, Ageism, Culturally Appropriative, Gender-based, Imprecise Language, Institutionalized Racism, Person-First, and Violent. Terms that don’t fit into any of those categories are gathered under “Additional Considerations.”
Says the website description
The external link takes viewers to the list of terms the university suggests you stop using or replace with instead. Nearly 50 words have been condemned thus far, and more can be added upon request and deliberation.
Words like ‘blacklist(ed)’ have been, well, blacklisted (!) – claiming, “The term implies wrongdoing. If you’ve been blackballed, you’ve been banned from joining an organization because of something you’ve done.” This word, apparently, has “implicit bias” when used, and should be replaced with words like ‘disallowed, block list.’
Other words with ‘black’ in the phrase are also frowned upon.
On the flipside terms “white team” and “whitelisted” have been blacklisted because they “Assign value connotations based on color. The phrase didn’t originate in slavery, but the use of color to describe value is subconsiously racialized.”
Phrases like “tone deaf,” “sanity check,” “dummy value,” and “blind review” are also frowned upon because this could be offensive to people with those disabilities, they say.
The University also recommends using “they/them/theirs” pronouns as to “assume” one’s preferred gender identity.
“Gray beard” has also banned because it elicits “ageism” because it infers to “Older, more experienced IT or cybersecurity personality. One sought after for wisdom born from study and experience over a lifetime” – which would, apparently, condescend to those who are not as learned.
“Grandfathered in” is also condemned because it “Refers to the “grandfather clause” adopted by seven Southern states during the Reconstruction Era. This allowed those states to deny voting rights to blacks.”
Even words like “American” have also been added to the list, asserting that “When we talk about “Americans” in the United States, we’re usually just referring to people from the United States. This erases other cultures and depicts the United States as the dominant American country.” Instead Stanford wants students to simply say “US Resident.”
The college also suggests to not use the word “abort,” because this “May evoke violent images, religious objections.”
Furthermore, terms like “submit” has been deemed too offensive per a user submitted ticket, claiming, “The dictionary term means to give or offer something for a decision to be made by others. However, due to some discussions within religious communities, submit can be taken in the context of allowing others to have power over you. Additionally, submission is a topic of discussion within some communities, resulting in a word that may have multiple meanings according to culture.”
The WinePress reported earlier this year that Stanford has also promoted the idea of harvesting and drinking/eating blood and organs from children to stay more youthful.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY
[2] A wise man’s heart is at his right hand; but a fool’s heart at his left. [3] Yea also, when he that is a fool walketh by the way, his wisdom faileth him, and he saith to every one that he is a fool. Ecclesiastes 10:2-3
Genuine fools do not hide the fact that they are indeed a fool. In this case they are “learned” and “highly-educated” fools: some of the worst of the clowns that exist. Universities in general, not just Stanford, are fool factories; turning people into mindless, apathetic, atheistic, losers. Dogs have more morals and brains than the people of today.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

Foolish me, for a split second after reading the title I sincerely thought they are giving a guide on how to get rid of profanity. Not this nonsense.
More brains than the certified ‘educated’ ones with no fear of God & purposely evolved seared consciences denying truth maybe. Otherwise, there’s no difference between the beasts & those falling back to the vomit & wallows as conditioned & programmed, purposely losing their image of God distinctives & loving cloaking, flattering lies excusing their sin.
And that explains some dumb dumb comments about all the other nations….Catholic dominated, that are ‘Americans’, too, due to being on the American continents on Rumble commentary today. Dumbed down parrots just can’t help it, or kick it out of neutral.
