New eyewitness evidence from citizens in New York City reveals that inhabitants are now eating rodents like rats and guinea pigs.

New York City reportedly has a serious rat infestation ranking second in the entire nation. New York state cities such as Albany, Syracuse, and Buffalo also cracked pest control company Orkin’s list of rattiest places in the U.S. Chicago, Illinois lays claim to having the rattiest city in the country.

In October of the city of New York declared that they will be attempting to reduce their rat infestation problem, declaring that “rats are not our friends.”

On December 3rd CNN reported that NYC has been recruiting a new “director of rodent mitigation,” a.k.a. the “rat czar.”

Do you have what it takes to do the impossible?. A virulent vehemence for vermin? A background in urban planning, project management, or government? And most importantly, the drive, determination and killer instinct needed to fight the real enemy – New York City’s relentless rat population?

[You will need a] swashbuckling attitude, crafty humor, and general aura of badassery.

The job listing description read

The person selected will become the new face of this initiative, working with the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the Parks Department, the New York City Housing Authority, the Department of Education, the Department of Sanitation, and the Department of Transportation.

Several days later, however, someone on social media captured a resident preparing rotisserie style rats for sale.

It is not known if this woman cooking up the rats is working for the city or vying for the “rat czar” job, or if she simply trapped them herself.

But other furry rodents are being served up, as evidenced by a short video uploaded to TikTok showing that frozen guinea pigs are being sold for consumption at select shops in the city, sold in the freezer section next to all the other normal frozen meats. The Flabbergasted woman in the video kept referring to them as rats, however the package calls them “Cuy” – which is a Peruvian name for a baked or fried guinea pig.

The WinePress reported that other nations are struggling with rising costs and food shortages, such as the case with recipients at food banks in Wales eating dog and pet food to survive.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

This is yet another canary in the coalmine showcasing where the country is at and how close we are to a full-blown collapse and implosion of the country. Similarly to what I said with the pet food ordeal in Wales – today it’s rats and guinea pigs, tomorrow it will be eating each other…

[53] And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee: [54] So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave: [55] So that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing left him in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates. [56] The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter, [57] And toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates.

Deuteronomy 28:53-57

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Jacob will you choose starvation or cannibalism? I will starve. We are currently trying to build our food preps. But once it all goes, it is going to be every man for himself. All I can say is you better be ready to defend the things you have.

    • Starve.
Within the next several weeks I will be adding a link so people can find a regenerative and pastured-raised farm near them, so they can not only find great food, but also build relationships with these people. We need to try and support these people as much as we can as to be detached more from the system.

      • Good idea brother. You are right. I live in Cincinnati and there is 1 farm out of Southern Indiana that makes its rounds and they are the only one where you can buy raw milk from. It is not cheap though!

        • I feel ya. I thankful that I live near Amish land so I can get access easier, but I know what you mean. It is so disgusting how the agricultural industrial complex artificially forces the prices of REAL food up to extortionate rates.

          • Jacob, this is a hopeless sign of the country’s condition and God’s judgement too, and I wouldn’t eat it, however that said, one thing I will NEVER eat and it’s a delicacy in Cambodia and parts of South America: TARANTULA!!!

No thanks, I’d rather be in combat than eat tarantula! Tarantulas are hideous!!! I want to shoot a tarantula with a pistol!

  • I will starve and die before I become a cannibal or eat rats and guinea pigs….there is noway and Jacob thank you for all you do for the body of Christ.

  • I’m not exactly in the best situation for after collapses survival due to medical reasons, but I’m developing a few ideas that could give me a fighting chance if worse comes to worse. Irregardless, I’m not going to turn to cannibalism, that is a line that I refuse to cross.

  • If I have to, I’ll live off potatoes and rice. I have the experience of being vegan in the past, eating mono meals, so it won’t be too much of a big deal for me if food prices skyrocket. I don’t know about my unsaved husband though. I’m worried he might go crazy…

    • That’s a good idea! I’d like me some potatoes and rice but that’s too much carbs. Throw in some eggs at least.
How about rice and sardines. Sounds kinda close to like Malaysian cooking, I think.

    • As for your husband, you need to pray and fast for him.
One meal a day fasting will work as long as it’s for the Lord and you abstain from all foods until it’s time to eat. I recommend dinner. If no breakfast or lunch, stick to dinner. It’s so rewarding to have a meal at night.

  • 1 Timothy 4:4-6
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 5 for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

If there’s absolutely nothing else to eat and nothing grows on the ground because of famine, and I’m extremely starving, I will eat rats (rats that thrive in the forests or fields that is, not the toxic rats in cities), or any other source of meat or food that is in line with scripture: dogs, cats, hamsters, locusts, etc.

Extreme hunger is a very powerful urge, as shown in the Old Testament, that most of the wicked people resorted to eating man’s flesh when famine hit them. I don’t think many will be picky with any kind of animal or insect approved in scripture when true hunger sets in. Plus, without animal meat or protein we will get sick. God will sanctify and cleanse these unusual sources of food for saved people if it’s received with faithful thanksgiving and prayer according to scripture.

There might be a few, who would opt to rather die than eat a cooked rat, but I guess we’ll know once real famine comes.
