This morning it was announced that Mike Leach, head football coach for the Mississippi State Bulldogs (MSU), died of a heart attack. He was 61-years-old.
MSU issued a lengthy statement this morning announcing his death, attributing it to “complications from a heart condition.”
Mike was a giving and attentive husband, father and grandfather. He was able to participate in organ donation at UMMC as a final act of charity. We are supported and uplifted by the outpouring of love and prayers from family, friends, Mississippi State University, the hospital staff, and football fans around the world. Thank you for sharing in the joy of our beloved husband and father’s life.
The surviving family said in a statement
Yesterday evening the Clarion Ledger reported that Leach “had a massive heart attack” where he “collapsed at his home in Starkville, but did not receive medical attention for between 10 to 15 minutes. EMTs used a defibrillator machine and delivered multiple shocks to restore normal heart rhythm.”
‘Leach may have suffered seizures with the possibility of brain damage,’ Clarion Ledger added at the time.
Mike’s death also underscores the fragility and uncertainty of our lives. Three weeks ago, Mike and I were together in the locker room celebrating a hard-fought victory in Oxford. Mike Leach truly embraced life and lived in such a manner as to leave no regrets. That’s a worthy legacy. May God bless the Leach family during these days and hours. The prayers of the Bulldog family go with them.
MSU President Mark E. Keenum said in a statement
Earlier this year the MSU football team was already forced to cope with the death of teammate Samuel Westmoreland who had “unexpectedly” died at the age of 18, as reported by The WinePress:
At the time the now-deceased Mike Leech wrote at the time:
The Mississippi State Athletics Family is heartbroken by the sudden death of Sam Westmoreland. Sam was a beloved son, brother and teammate, and a tremendous young man with a limitless future. He will always be remembered and deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
The entire MSU Family mourns as our thoughts and prayers go out to the Westmoreland family. Our highest priority is the support of the Westmoreland family and our student-athletes during this troubling time.
In May of last year the University stated that Covid-19 vaccination was highly encouraged but not mandated. Currently MSU says “Vaccinations are highly encouraged, but not required for students.”
However all public university staff in the state were mandated to get vaccinated in October, 2021, per President Joe Biden’s order to mandate it for many different workplaces, but could be revoked if Biden’s mandate were to end or be struck down in court (which it eventually was).
The board voted 9-3 to require the shots for all educators and staff who report to campuses at Mississippi’s public colleges […]
Under the new guidance, all current public university employees will be required to be fully vaccinated by Dec. 8. Employees who work remotely or do not come on campuses will not fall under the requirement. Students are not impacted by the new guidance.

Another one bites the dust from these Covid death shots. Again, and again, again – this has been a reoccurring theme of those that got a jabbed: they are dying out of nowhere, usually via a heart attack. But of course, we can’t point out the obvious.
[7] Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. [8] For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Galatians 6:7-8
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

John Madden also died this year.
I’m glad that this is happening and thank the Lord for it because the sports idols are falling apart.
Who knows, the super bowl might just get cancelled soon because of too many deaths from the death shots. Football idolaters (fans) will be upset maybe angry; me, I’ll just shrug it off and walk into 7-Eleven for a breakfast plate.
Now the media is proclaiming that the unvaxxed are more likely to die in a car accident: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/people-skipped-covid-vaccine-higher-183148392.html
We are going to see more of this in the coming days and weeks.
Good grief…
Sounds about right. I can see how unvaxxed people are more likely to die in a car accident……with the vaxxident probably caused by some person who took the jabs and has a heart attack in the middle of a busy intersection.
I was thinking the same thing, Liz. Someone crashes into someone else and it’s not because of DWI it’s because of DWV (Driving While Vaxxed.)
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”
They followed their heart (to take the deathshot), then their heart failed them. They were deceived by their own heart.
