Gun-free zones working really well, obviously…

The following report is by WTTW:

Chicago has topped 600 homicides and 2,600 shootings in 2022, according to new Chicago Police Department data. Though both of those totals mark double-digit declines over each of the past two years, they remain above pre-pandemic levels.

Through the end of November, 3,258 people have been shot in the city, according to monthly crime stats from the CPD. Of those victims, 637 people were killed. The number of homicides represents a 15% decline compared to the same time in 2021.

The number of shootings recorded so far this year (2,647) is also down nearly 20% over last year.

Our officers are out in the community working to keep others safe and I want to thank them for upholding the mission to serve and protect.

Police Superintendent David Brown said in a statement.

In November alone, there were 54 homicides and 208 shootings across Chicago. Those figures are down 8% and 22%, respectively, compared to the same month in 2021. The city had averaged about 46 homicides in November over the past decade.

According to the CPD, officers this year have recovered 11,598 illegal firearms, a nearly 3% increase over the same time last year. That total includes 990 assault weapons — a 49.5% increase year-to-date — and approximately 722 unregistered, privately-made ghost guns.

While the CPD has increased resources along CTA train and bus lines, the police department said overall transit crime was up 2% in November 2022 compared to November 2021.

The CPD also said the number of vehicular hijackings is down approximately 8% compared to the same time in 2021, while carjacking-related arrests are up 18%.

Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath.

Proverbs 29:8

Though, relatively speaking, the shootings and homicides have gone down a tad this year, they are still ridiculously high, and simply appalling.

Chicago, Illinois, once again, is a case study of what a tight-nit “gun-free” city looks like and translates to. The criminals NEVER give-up their guns and will always find ways to get them, and therefore subsequently use them on a defenseless population that does not have them.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Chicago is a hellish death trap. The police are defunded, guns are banned, the King James Bible is definitely hated, and the mayor is a devil-possessed hellion who looks like Beetlejuice.
Martial law is coming to Chicago and it’s going to be a bloodbath.
