In a move that could potentially fly in the face of the nation’s climate agendas, Switzerland is considering becoming the first European nation to prohibit the use of electric cars in a bid to save on energy costs.

German outlet Der Spiegel says this move certainly is plausible based-on a handful of local reports coming out of the nation, and a draft of the proposed regulations.

The private use of electric cars is only permitted for mandatory journeys (i.e. Professional practice, shopping, visits to the doctor, attending religious events, taking court appointments).

The draft reportedly reads

Switzerland primarily operates on hydroelectric power, but also imports energy supplies from Germany and France – two nations, namely Germany, that have gotten pummeled from the restrictions levied against Russia. Therefore Switzerland’s additional imports are not so secure and guaranteed.

The draft also considers tightening some of the speed limits on certain roads.

The ripple effect caused by the Russia-Ukraine conflict prompted energy concerns and worry, which caused the International Energy Agency to call upon nations to consider mandating slower speeds and things like car-free Sundays.

The draft, furthermore, also covers other prohibitions on certain electrical devices. Der Spiegel writes:

‘The restrictions in e-mobility are only intended for escalation level 3, as stated in the draft. Previously, austerity measures would apply in private households. For example, washing machines should only run at a maximum of 40 degrees. Hardwood blowers, heating mushrooms, seat heaters in chair lifts should not be operated. And videos from streaming services should only be shown in SD resolution.’

Switzerland had already considered jailing residents who heated their homes past a certain point, along with banning the sale of portable heaters. The nation’s Environmental Minister has also publicly suggested family members shower together to cutback on energy consumption.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

James 1:8

And these greenies and eco-warriors are indeed doubled-minded, delusional hypocrites, and puppets. Even though EVs are being touted as being energy savers and safe for the environment, the fact that Switzerland is considering placing a ban on them says all that needs to be said.

That being said, some of these other insane proposals like forcing video quality to be non-HD is something that they pulled out of left field, and has next to zero to do with reducing energy consumption. It is all about more control and enslaving the public, making them cry out in desperation for the predetermined “solution.”

Furthermore, this potential ban on EVs once again reveals the true agenda. When California made the move to essentially leverage the auto industry to go all electric by 2035, I was very quick to say this was not the end goal. A week later state officials began incentivizing residents to not own any vehicle of any kind. Why? Because as the WEF says: “You’ll Own Nothing and Be Happy.” The move to go all-electric is meant to only destabilize economies, energy sectors, supply chains, and trash the grid.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • That’s the thing about electric vehicles, you have to get the power to recharge it from somewhere, and considering the fact that most people aren’t building miniature solar plants to charge them, it means that they are getting the energy from where most everyone else is, that being the local electric plant. The very same power plant that is responsible for heating homes in the winter, running food preparation appliances, and powering all those 1000 watt gaming pc’s with the 12th gen core I9’s and the RTX 3080’s all the cool kids are rocking these days.

Now if you can build your own solar plant, got a stable car that didn’t catch on fire, could get the entire thing for under 40K (Plant and car), and could buy a car that doesn’t hook up to the internet or have some covert form of kill-switch/lockout, then it might be worth it for someone in the upper middle class. But let’s face it, that’s not going to happen at all. Electric vehicles are a danger to society in their current form, not to mention all the pollution it takes to make the car.

New petrol cars aren’t cheep by any means, but at least there’s some good options on the used market for a couple of thousand you could get if you look hard enough.
