Russia Passes ‘Gay Propaganda’ Bill That Prohibits All LGTBQIA+ Messaging In Media, And Bans Openly Gay Relationships

Several days ago the Russian court passed a motion to ban the promotion and proliferation of anything pro-LGTBQIA+ in all forms of televised and printed media, including books, and advertising. The bill also prohibits homosexual relationships and marriages in broad daylight.

Lawmakers say this move will protect from the “darkness spread” and propagated by the United States and many of Russia’s European neighbors.

The WinePress reported on the early proposals for this bill in June, which RT said that the bill did not totally disseminate against the LGTBQIA+ lifestyle and the personal liberties of the people to identify how they want.

The official Russian Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation details the bill (translated from Russian to English):

Deputies of the State Duma unanimously adopted in the third reading a law aimed at banning the distribution of materials promoting non-traditional sexual relations or preferences. The authors of the amendments were the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, the leaders of all factions and more than 300 deputies of the State Duma.

Propaganda will be prohibited both among minors and adults. Propaganda of pedophilia and gender reassignment is also prohibited.

The decision will help protect our children, the future of the country from the darkness spread by the United States and European states. We have our own traditions and values.

The law provides for the inclusion of such sites in the register of prohibited ones with their subsequent blocking, as well as a ban on the sale of goods (including foreign ones) containing prohibited information.

On paid audiovisual services, access to such information can only be obtained using a special code that confirms the user’s age. Where it is technically impossible, dissemination of such information will be prohibited.

The law also expands the requirements for advertising, which should not contain information demonstrating non-traditional sexual relations or preferences. Films promoting such relationships will not receive a distribution certificate.

During the discussion of the amendments at the plenary session, the Chairman of the State Duma recalled that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken had previously addressed the deputies, proposing to withdraw the draft law. According to Vyacheslav Volodin, the unanimous support of the ban on the promotion of same-sex relations by parliamentarians is “the best answer to [Anthony] Blinken.”

Also, in the third reading, amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses were adopted in terms of punishment for non-compliance with the ban.

So, for violation of the ban on propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations or preferences among people of any age, a fine of 50 thousand to 400 thousand rubles for citizens, from 100 thousand to 800 thousand – for officials, from 800 thousand to 5 million or suspension of activities up to 90 days – for legal entities.

AUTHOR’S NOTE: This equates (approximately) to $825-$6,600 – $1,650-$13,200 – $13,200-$82,650.

For violating the ban on promoting pedophilia, the fine will be from 200,000 to 800,000 rubles for citizens, from 400,000 to 2 million for officials, from 1 million to 10 million rubles or suspension of activities for up to 90 days for legal entities.

Also, for the dissemination of information among minors that demonstrates non-traditional sexual relations or that can make them want to change their sex, the fine will be from 50 thousand to 200 thousand rubles for citizens, from 100 thousand to 400 thousand – for officials, from 800 thousand up to 4 million rubles or suspension of activities up to 90 days – for legal entities.

For such violations, foreign citizens and stateless persons will face expulsion from the Russian Federation.

Say what you will about Russia, as they too have their own set of issues to deal with – as they, like everyone else, locked down and set off to fight the Covid War and push vaccines on their people; and people like Putin being a puppet for the Vatican, and a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader; and Russia’s allies being evil and corrupt as well, namely China, whom they have made affinity together to lead the “new world order”

– but, seeing this is welcome news to know that Russia is purportedly not playing around with stamping out the sodomy in their lands. Will it actually be enforced? That I cannot say, but give credit where credit is due, this is certainly a step in the right direction.

As I said, Russia and its leaders have their own problems and shady associations, so one must not cheerlead or be heady in rashly coddling up to Russia. Their stance, by and large as concerning the Covid death shots, were mostly a “freedom of choice” stance. Putin and the rest did the Trump approach: fund, promote, and jam it down the people’s throats; just not broadly “mandate it.”

This plays right into the “Ignite the Right” movement I have discussed. Progressivism is nearing its end for destroying nations and people: now a more pseudo-conservative approach must be touted to “rebuild.” The same agendas spouted from the current misfits and motley crue will still mostly come to pass, but it will be propagandized much differently.
