The newly-selected British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has been strongly advised to soon implement an universal basic income (UBI) system in the United Kingdom, under the guise of protecting citizens from ‘future crises’ and skyrocketing inflation.
The Mirror was able to obtain a letter to Sunak, signed by 285 campaigners, MPs, academics and mayors across the U.K., including the former Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, food poverty campaigner Jack Monroe, former Labour Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell, and Green Party MP Caroline Lucas.
The signatories write that a basic income “could be our generation’s (National Health System) NHS” as a means to prevent more households from falling into penury. They also warn that the nation is on the cusp of a “real moment of crisis” this winter due to poverty and inequality threatening the “very foundations of the U.K. itself.”
[Basic income could be] set at a modest level – enough to pay for the basics, like food, transport and utility bills. But it would be enough to prevent struggling households being tipped into poverty when the next crisis hits.
The letter says
The Mirror adds, ‘With [the] Covid pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis, the letter adds that for a second time in three years ministers have “been forced into putting money in people’s pockets to prevent disaster.”‘
These ad-hoc solutions have been too little, too late, and have come at extortionate cost to the public purse.
The system we have put in place to support fellow citizens is failing us, and we need to try something different.
The letter also notes
The UK has faced an unprecedented series of crises over the past two years.
Both the pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis have revealed that our households are woefully unprepared to withstand the kind of shocks to the system that are increasing in both frequency and intensity.
A Universal Basic Income, paid to everybody regardless of income, wealth or work, could be part of the solution.
It would give everybody a basic level of security, and would stop anyone falling into destitution when the next crisis hits.
Jonny Douglas of the UBI Lab Network said in a statement
Earlier this year The WinePress reported that the Wales government have begun a pilot UBI system that gave select young adults £1,600 every month for two years.
Before his recent selection as replacement for the ousted PM Liz Truss, a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader – Sunak, another WEF Young Global Leader, was the former Chancellor of the Exchequer (treasurer) in 2020–2022, announced a year ago that the U.K. had partnered with other G7 nations to test out a new retail central bank digital currency (CBDC).
Moreover, Sunak’s other connections should be taken into account as well.
Vision News in July of this year detailed some of his wife and family’s businesses and other previous ties to the WEF, which include the creation of a social credit score. The outlet wrote:
The father of Sunak’s wife Akshata Murthy is the founder of Infosys a hi-tech company that provides digital tracking and security for banks across the globe. Infosys is listed as an official partner of the World Economic Forum (WEF), who are reportedly developing the technology to implement its “social credit score” system.
Social Credit Scores are already being used in China which controls every aspect of an individual’s life by means of the system. The World Economic Forum are championing the system, claiming it is needed to control such things as ‘climate change’ and are pressuring governments to implement it.
Sunak’s family being behind the Social Credit Score system comes as no surprise to some who have already pointed to the ‘Programmable Money’ system he’s vowed to implement simply the the other side of the (digital) coin.
For a social credit score to work, punishment for doing the wrong thing must be the ultimate incentive, and there is no better ‘incentive’ than to take away someone’s money.
Several Infosys executives have also contributed articles to the WEF website, including the company’s Global Head, President, and Chief Compliance Officer. Infosys President Mohit Joshi has penned articles for the site in favour of digital banking, which provides the technological framework for the “social credit score” system the WEF has come under scrutiny for attempting to effectuate across the world.
Joshi echoes these sentiments in an article for the WEF from August 2020: “Why it’s time to take central banks’ digital currencies seriously.”
What is clear is that the crisis of COVID-19 presents many challenges – but also a unique opportunity to rethink how money is managed and used in our society.
He asks
In another Article for the WEF Infosys CEO states:
The Chinese government in Zhejiang Province has developed an “enterprise digital code” for just this purpose, responding to small and mediums banks (SMBs) with easy-to-access financial resources. MYBank, a subsidiary of Ant Financial, the Chinese Big Tech firm, collaborates with the Chinese government through this scheme to provide cheap loans and other financial products to SMBs.
The Sunak family company is also a member of the WEF’s Partnering Against Corruption Initiative (PACI), which includes cross-industry representatives from the world’s largest corporations. The National Pulse recently exposed how the initiative, which purports to fight for transparency in business practices, is the former CEO of Reuters who now serves as a board member at COVID-19 vaccine maker Pfizer a company that is entirely opaque with it’s own business practices.
Sunak himself has a history of being soft on China, telling the Telegraph that he wanted a “complete sea change” in relations with the Chinese Communist Party in favor of increased trade ties and economic collaboration. China, in turn, has endorsed Sunak’s candidacy.
The WP has previously noted that the WEF has already publicly stated that the same people who voluntarily submitted themselves to Covid-related measures – i.e. lockdowns and quarantine, mass testing, masking, social distancing, temperature checks, vaccines, etc. – will also accept a coming carbon-based social credit score.
Klaus Schwab, founder of the WEF, recently referred to communist China – who actively has a social credit score – as a “role model” for the world to adopt:
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
In retrospect it is easier to see why this slimeball was literally selected to be the next Prime Minister – I mean, not even a rigged election setup as due process and formality was done, but just flat-out inserted – replacing another WEF puppet in Truss, who succeeded in making a dire situation go from bad to worse in a matter of weeks. Sunak’s connections make the ‘obvious’ choice, seeing as how he was groomed for this role.
UBI is something that the handlers want to impress upon the people. And most people will flock to quick cash being dangled in front of them. This is how the people will be enticed into first accepting the social credit scores and CBDCs before they are mandated. In the end, it will not work out.
[12] In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD. [13] Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee. [14] Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it. [15] And I will scatter thee among the heathen, and disperse thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee. [16] And thou shalt take thine inheritance in thyself in the sight of the heathen, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD. Ezekiel 22:12-16
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

The Lord’s will be done. Ezekiel 22 is a heavy, heavy burden. What a chapter. What an indictment against the people of God. And if judgment begin with the house of God, what shall the end be of them that obey not the Gospel of God?
This will only make the inflation problem worse, like much much much worse! Making those who do not want that income suffer even more.
